moisturizing????? x

Has anyone been told to put moisturiser on your boobs after op?? & if so how long after the B.A, are you aloud to moisturise them? Xxx

not sure if your allowed or not, but my boobs were dry and i have been putting moisteriser and a small bit of bio oil over my boobs, no where near my scars though, i started doing this 4 days PO and im now 9 days PO. xx

I’ve been putting cream on before the op to try and prevent stretch marks, once the ops done I was going to carry on but just not near the scars. Although I was told I have to keep the large dressings on for 4 days so I imagine after that might be ok?

I’d be careful about putting anything on your boobs at all for the first few weeks girls as the pores soak it up then it goes into the bloodstream where it can cause just as much damage as over your scars. Ask your surgeon or nurse, but i was told not to use moisturiser or soap for the first week, then only very mild shower gel after that but still no moisturiser, and no spray deodorant for 3 weeks xx
