Mole Removal…?

Hey girls… yes random I know…

I am supposed to be having two moles removed by NHS but I am SUPER scared of being awake whilst having it done… so I thought ”hmm I wonder if Dr Singh will remove them whilst I’m sleeping?”

I have text my PC and she is trying to find out for me… but I was wondering if anyone knows?

Another surgery company I went to were charging over £400 per mole!! That’s bloody ridiculous… I don’t exactly mind paying an extra couple quid but the money it’s already costing plus travelling to Bristol etc all the time… I want it free!!! Lol

Ohhh Fairy I hope it goes well hun, I have missed so many appointments to have mine removed because I am frightened to death of needles which is why I would prefer to have them removed whilst I’m knocked out!! Lol. I don’t see why he should charge for removing them?

ooo ive got 1..on my head lol rite on my forhead its not big, but i used to hate it when i was younger! probs not worth getin it removed tho dnt want a scar on my forhead lol! ive got identical moles on my boobs at each side like eyes lol x

Haha Laura! I have one right on my forehead too… but it really doesn’t bother me as much as these two, the one on my neck catches on my necklace, hairbrush etc… and the one on my boob, well I’m just scared of the sun exposure really.

My horrible boyfriend calls them Cocopops hmph x

LAura, usually they have to be sore and itchy (signs of cancer)for nhs removal, so if they are sore and itchy they will be remived. Almost 100% sure its frozen off then a tiny scar is left! I dont mind a scar, ill use ma dermatrix sheets haha xxx

Hmm maybe he’ll only do it if it’s on my boob…

Which means the one on my neck will have to be NHS, and this is the one I’m most scared of… I’m SUCH a baby, as well as being afraid of needles I also HATE my neck being touched… something about my shoulder and neck muscles, just drives me mad, makes me tense up etc!! Lol so…

Needle + Neck Muscles = passed out Kayteelouu!! Lol

orr well my mole doesnt itch or anything just sits ther mite start charging it bord soon lol il just cover it with the fringe hehe x

im sure it does itch and hurt

I think it depends on the type of mole …..some can be frozen and some need to be cut out ….I think the removal of them these days are pretty good and don’t scar …no harm in asking ….best of luck ….

Good luck fairy, hope everything’s ok. 2 years ago I had mole change and bleed, luckily it was fine and I was advised to keep it and keep an eye on it. It’s on my chest so slightly worried the stretch will make it bleed again, if it does I’ll get it checked again just to be sure x

hi hun, i had a mole removed 6mths ago, i was reallt frightend but it honestly didnt hurt at all, the injection to numb it stung a tiny bit then it was fine and mine was quite deep so he was there for a while and all i could feel was a bit of prodding, i walked out of there and wonderd why id wound myself up so much. x

Thanks belle im sure itll be ok. Doc sent me away last time and said it was fine, even though it was sooo sore bleeding n itching like mad. He gave me creme. I then got a phone call saying he would like a second opinion and now i have to go bk!

That is terrible, should always be checked by a specialist if it bleeds. I’m sure it’ll be fine x
