more painful than i fort it would be

I wish i could take stronger pain killers like codine and stuff but i cant so its well painful havin this done coz im just stuck on paracetamol and ibruprofen and thats it how crap is that? Be warned anyone that cant take strong pain killers it hurts loads x

aww hun, see if u can get a prescription for a higher dosage of ibuprofen/paracetamol? x

Thanks flower i already feel like a complete junkie poppin as many pills as i am just want it to die down then i will perk up. Roll on next week when i should feel better xx

When I was discharged I was given a 5 day supply of diclofenac which is an anti-inflammatory pain reliever along with the codeine stuff and anti biotics, have you tried these or are you unable to take them?

I can’t take co-codamol as they make me dizzy and spaced out but I was given co-dydramol and have been fine on them ( not sure if they have a lower dose of codeine in them?)

I am 8 days post op now and take the occasional ibrubrofen 400mg or a co-dydramol to ease the nerve reconnecting which is the only real discomfort I am feeling now.

Hi marie i cant take anything with codine in at all which makes it worse. I used to take diclofenac before but find ibruprofen works better for some reason. I rang the nurse today and most of my pain is actually my shoulders and back tensed up makin the muscles at the front hurt more so i need to relax my shoulders more which is provin pretty hard as im hunchedforward coz of all the weight but i have managed to relax them a bit which has eased the pain slightly so the nurse makes sense. Thanks though xx

What size did u have and did u have overs or unders? xx
