More pics up of my progress up to Day 9 xxx

I still have the dent under my nipple on left breast but I think it is improving since the nurse took a few of the staples out today. Its still very swollen, though, at the top by my arm and at the bottom. It will improve with time, I’m told!

Getting my staples out on Thursday so will put some more up after that.

They are looking great hun, you pleased? Did they go in around the nipple? I cant even see the dent, and I’m sure whatever you are seeing will even out

The pain is honestly fine, I was really suprised by how little pain I had. There is probably more discomfort now as things start to move around and settle. Still having to sleep upright due to the swelling and it is a NIGHTMARE! I’m so fed up of it and am suprised I don’t have bed sores on my bum! How far post op are you now kutri? Healing ok?

Ahh bless ya, yeah the sleeping is a pain to start with, but you will be surprised how quickly you get comfortable once you can start sleeping on your side. Though I must admit I used sleeping tablets for the first few days of being upright Really helped me, dont think I would have slept otherwise. I’m nearly 3 months post op, healing fine, seeing my surgeon the 1st of march to discuss a few things xxx

When can you start sleeping on your side?

I was fine sleeping upright the first week while i was taking the tablets but since i finished taking them i’m having a nightmare sleeping lol, i start off fairly upright but keep sliding down, it dont half make my hair frizzy at back lol.

I’m 14days post op from uplift and just had my dressings off. My left boob was really tender all down the outside from my armpit down, i also stretched for something with my left arm and think i pulled something cos its stiffer than right, but its getting better slowly. xx

I know what you mean samf, when I was taking the tramadol, I slept like a baby but not so much now! I think once you have had your dressings off and you don’t have swelling you can go onto your side. I can’t wait to have a shower too!!!

It’s so easy to reach for things without thinking as you start to feel a bit better. I have to make a conscious effort not to lift my daughter and reach up into the cupboard for things!
