Mothers and Daughters – TV opportunity!!

Hi All!

The BBC been back in touch with MYA as they are looking for single documentaries for a new strand they are doing called ‘My Mum and Me’.
They are looking for people from all walks of life and are looking for warm and engaging people with really compelling stories. They are looking for three to five women and their mothers to take part in this hour- long documentary film.

If you are a patient that is considering having surgery with your mother or you are funding your mothers surgery, or have a cosmetic surgery story which includes your mother we would love to hear from you!

Please let us know your full name and what clinic you have been to for your consultation and we can get intouch to let you know more!

I had surgery on 23rd of feb, my mum came with me and stayed over night with me and has nursed me bk to fighting fit over the last 10days since my surgery, not sure if thats the sort of thing you want? jessoliver987@hotmail.com if so.

Hi, ever since i was young my mum would always go on about how much she wanted breast enlargement, how she hated her small boobs, how she would love to have the money to go ahead and get them done, so I suppose it was drummed into me and I grew up with the impression that i should really get one. i am now 24 and my mum is 45, she never got round to having hers done but i am booked in for one on 16th april!! my mum is supporting me through it all and totally understands why i am going ahead with it. is this something you would be interested in? my clinic is in birmingham, and my surgery will be done in highgate london. my email add is zoey1connor@hotmail.co.uk xx

Well I don’t think this applies to me in the usual way and it sounds a bit cold hearted but my BA was funded by the sale of my mams house when she died. Some people find it weird, and others, like me, think it’s a lovely way of turning a negative into a positive, and giving me something the family genes couldn’t pass on!
