Has Mr Adamo told you to come off the pill? My PC told me to, but I don’t want to stop taking it unless I actually have to.

I would ask at my pre-op but by then it will probably be too late to come off it.

So she was told to come off it? I’m not sure what to do, cos Mr Adamo didn’t say anything about it at any of my consultations xx

i think the surgeons mainly deal with size and the surgery etc… and then the nurses/pc’s deal with the do’s and dont’s, they “advise” you to stop taking it because it deffinatly increases the risk of pulminary embolism and deep vein thrombosis. my surgeon never told me to stop but the nurse and pc did, xx

I think the pill and the implant are different though. Hmm, I don’t really want to stop taking it but think I will. I don’t want to increase the risk of any complications xx
