mr adamo (no bandages after op)??

when i met with mr adamo last week he told me he doesnt put bandages on his patients after there ops but surely when im ready to leave i then will have to were the post surgery bra like everyone else a bit confused about this x

hey i had my surgery with dr adamo on weds and i was fine i bought my own sports bra just for the support when i was going home and i wear it at night for my own piece of mind hes a lovely surgeon and i cudnt have wished for a better one i have a few pics if u want to see im still quit sore

so do yous girls not wear a sports bra 24/7 xx

hi sandy4 ive not had my ba yet booked for 23rd march just gathering info my sister had ba 7 years ago and had her bra on 24/7 so didnt know if things had changed since shes great and also told me start taking vitimin-e and fub in bio-oil now get my skin ready all helps x

no not 24/7 i wear mine quite alot but he says we dnt have to wear them

I had my op three days ago & he told me I didn’t have to wear one as they won’t droop and it allows them to settle. I’ve put a bra on for support as they are heavy but pretty much not worn one last couple of days. He also allows you to bath / shower straight away which is great! He is fantastic, good luck xx

thanks louise85 he is a great surgeon glad ive got him booked and to be able to take the bra off will help healing i would have thought x

What sports bra did you buy giorgia? i’ve been looking for a sports bra the fastens up the front? Most surgeons reccomend MaCom post surgery bra or Asda surgery Bras from what i can gather. xx

yea it’s confusing, the MaCom bras are on ther website http://www.macom-medical.com ther quite expensive, loads of girls get asda ones quite cheap, dont think they fasten at the front though, i not bought any yet xx

My op is March 15th, yours? do the marks and spencer ones go quite low down, i think the Macom ones go lower down so the band doesnt rub on scars. i hate bra shopping at the best of times lol, this is just a nightmare, finding the right one is one thing but getting the right size will be another lol xx

I got a macom one as it stretches to fit your cup size not back so will help when the swelling goes down and it’s a great support and doesn’t dig into your scars!

Not long to go, hop you are excited and make sure you rest after! I’ve been lucky today as no pain so stopped taking the painkillers but lots I can’t do yet! x

hey hun, there is no medical reason why you need to be bandaged or have a bra i’ve had Dr Adamo for 2 breast enlargements and he just puts lil plasters over the scars. I found it more comfortable not to wear a bra and I didn’t, they healed up perfect and look great!

rachieboo! im 11 days post op with mr chantarasak… been wearing tight vests instead of sports bras altho he said wear one 24/7 for 6 weeks but they are so uncomfortable and i dont feel like im getting any support from them at all! I remember you telling me you wore a string bikini LoL x You were right when you said it was nothing to be worried about… I’ve had no pain and im so happy i had them done! 34A – 34E Woop Woop! x

I had 310inspira overs x Im only tiny… 5’2 and 7stone 4 x BOOBS ARE AMAZING THO! Will definitely have another once i’ve had kids and will try and get some 500cc bad boys! LoL x
