I’m really confused about wearing the sports bra. Mr Adamo said that it isn’t necessary to wear one but I can if I want to. I’ve ordered a Macom and a couple of Asda sports bras just incase.

Should I wear one or not? For how long? Confused!

Hi, I’m having my op with him on the 27th. He told me the same, that I could wear one during the day if I wanted to. I’ve bought some post surgery bras from m&s and a couple of sports bras. I guess I’ll just see how it goes afterwards. When is your op?

Did he tell you if you should wear one when sleeping? Yeah I’m just gunna see how I feel, but might ask him about it again on the day.

    Mine’s on the 13th.

No, well he specifically said during the day so I assume he doesn’t suggest wearing one at night, but I am gonna

double check with the nurse when I see her on Thursday. You havent got long to go then, let me know how you get on! X

At my pre-op the nurse said to wear it 24/7 for six weeks. The nurses and surgeons all say different things, so confusing!

Less than ten days, so excited :) I will do! xx

Hi hun, I also had Mr Adamo who offered the same advice but I bought a Macom bra anyway…

I didn’t where a bra for the first 3-4 days and have only been wearing it for the last 24 hours and feel more comfortable.

Look at my pics and you’ll see how my boobs have changed over the last 5 days… the pic on Day 5 is after I had been wearing the bra….

My boobs are progressing at different paces at the moment so you’ll have to excuse the fact that they look a bit wonky HAHA!

Dr Adamo also told me not to wear one as he said it wasn’t necessary-but that if I really wanted to that I could.

I have chosen not to wear one and have worn tight fitting crop tops instead-once I get the all clear at 6 weeks I’ll get fitted for a proper bra.

I only had 300cc from a 32a so perhaps I don’t need as much support as girls who had had better implants but if you would feel more comfortable wearing it then I would say definitely wear one.

    Hope that helps xxx

    Thanks girls!

I’m only having 230cc so maybe I don’t need a lot of support. Will go out and buy a few fitted crop tops, and see what I like better :)

Just added you shells, would love to have a look at your pics :)

    Hi

I was told it’s up to me if I wanted to wear one as he says it doesn’t make any difference if you wear them or not! I wore my after the first few days during the day but not all the time! Just see how you get on. Good luck xxx

    P.S.. I also had 300 as well

I had Dr Adamo and there’s no need to wear it’s just whatever is more comfortable if you want to wear one then do if not don’t! it won’t affect how you heal or anything :)
