Hey all, iv been reading that alot of people who have under gone their BA’s with Mr Traynor have been told not to wear a bra for 6 weeks, he didnt say anything to me and i didnt think to ask, but when i asked the nurse she said judging by his hand writing i think you had partial unders and you need to wear a bra. Im worried now that the nurse maybe got it wrong as in the heat of it all i never even knew if i was having unders or overs, i know it sounds silly but i sort of booked it all so quick i didnt know to ask! xx

It won’t do any harm wearing a sports bra for support!most surgeons recommend it!x

    Hi
I am one of Mr Traynors patients who didn’t have to wear a bra for 6 weeks!! I had 340cc mhp unders. If you have unders, wearing a bra will prevent the implants from dropping naturally into place. You have to remember that cos the implants are under the muscle, the muscle is holding the implants in place to a certain degree and wearing a bra will delay the dropping process even longer. Everybody, including the nurse kept asking me if I had bought a sports bra, but Mr Traynor told me and even marked it down on some surgery info that I brought home, that I wasn’t to wear one. I don’t know when having partial unders if the same rule applies tho!! I would ring your pc to see if he has wrote anything on your notes with regards to this or get her to find out from him for you. Failling that, buy a cheap sports bra from Asda and take it with you on the day of your op and ask Mr Traynor then.
    Good luck xx
