Mr Traynor…It wasn't a dream!!!!

I am so very happy after my BA op yesterday!!! The day started a bit of a nightmare tho as we set off an hour before admission time of 11.30 for what should of been a 25min journey. We got stuck in a traffic jam on motorway and it was GRIDLOCKED for miles!!! Heard on radio it was gonna be like that for at least a couple of hrs so I started to panic then rang hosp and they didnt say much just acknowledged the call. Then the traffic started to move just a little and we could see people getting off at an upcoming junction se we did the same….we managed to re-route and made it to Highfield about 25 mins late due to my partner Richards quick thinking!! I honestly didnt think we were going to get there so no surprise when I got my blood pressure took it was a bit high!!!

Anyway the lovely staff and Mr Traynor soon put me at ease and I was gowned up and drawn on for my 415 high profile natrelle responsive overs ( was empty 34c and am 5ft 9 1/2 and 10st 10 ) was told I would be in theatre when he’d had his lucnh.

I took the chance then to go and see golden16 who I’d spoken to on here on the forum and was in a room just down the corridor. Was lovely to meet her and her mum and she was a few hrs post op looking fab with her new boobies

I went to theatre just after 2pm and everyone put me at ease….struggled to get canula in my left hand as I was freezing so eventually found a vein in my right….the rest is a blur. Back in my room I had BOOBIES!!!!! Wow they looked amazing and I was in no pain whatsoever and didnt feel sick…I just lay there and kept looking at them lol. Mr Traynor came to check on me and I couldn’t thank him enough he has done exactly what I wanted making my boobs look much fuller at the top.

At 6.30 I had a lovely meal prawn cocktail and quiche with salad and a cup of tea which I was so ready for as was 24hrs since I last ate! Then had a visitor beckyh123 who was waiting to go home after her procedure…it was lovely to meet her as well and for her to find the time to come see me….thanks hun xx

I got home at about 8’30 in about 20 mins ( no traffic this time thankfully ha ha) I didnt feel tired at all just read through my aftercare notes then read a magazine in bed. Did’t think I would ever get to sleep propped up but my v pillow has been a Godsend and eventually nodded off until needing the loo at 6.30am…lol I looked down and YES they where still there!! Feel a little sore today but not too bad now meds have kicked in.

Sorry if I have gone on a bit but just wanted to share my experience with anyone who is awaiting surgery as you have nothing to worry about and you will be well taken care of. I’m going to try upload a few pics from yesterday shortly. I’m looking forward to being pampered now for a few days love Vanessa xxxx

Again lovely meeting you and good luck with your new boobies, Mr Traynor was amazing, i can not fault him. i have put my story up as well, bit long lol as im at home bored in bed so waffled on a bit.
