MRSA swabs

Was anyone else aware that the results from your MRSA swabs if negative are only valid for 6 weeks, I’ve just had to travel all the way back to Brighton today to have them repeated because my Pre Op was in January and my op is 2 weeks time..

How odd !! what were your results last?? you would think they would do preops nearer the time if this is the case x
