Mum and dad away for my op…. Anyone at Fitzroy 14th June???

Hey girls.. bit of a silly post but basically ive just changed my op to june 14th.. and my mum has just got in and told me that she is away for that day

she is a bit upset as she wants to be here for it.. but i reallly dont want to change it again!!!

If i get a friend to drive me up there and be there for me to help me etc.. Do i really need my mum there lol? i sound so silly but i want to hear what u think

That’s not silly but you should be fine especially as you will have your friend there with you and the nurses take such good care of you anyway xxx

not silly at all x my mum was the opposite but only cos she didnt want me to get it done, going by myself… at first i hated the thought of being alone but heard the nurses are really nice so not too worried anymore xx
