Mummies please read….

I wondered if some of you girls could offer any advice, I had my little boy 14 mths ago and on day 3 developed horrific mastitus, my boobs swelled from a small C (During pregnancy) to a DD literally overnight, and turned square and went rock hard….incredibly painful! if I had had implants it would have looked just like CC! I then stopped breastfeeding him and switched to formula. 14 mths on I can still squeeze milk out of both of them, literally just drops but have been told that this isn’t right….I’ve read a few times that there is a link between mastitus and CC!! eeekkk, am so worried about CC that this really scares me! x

hi im not sure what cc is sorry , i had mastitus long after having breast feeding my boys and took evening primrose oil , i think u shud go to the docs and put ur mind at rest , takes ages for ur bodyto settle down after having baby and breastfeeding .

hormones all over the place , r u using contraception ? ( sox know thats quite personal )

Hi Cazlack – CC is Capsular Contraction, sorry about the acronym :-)have you had your implants yet? if so, how long did you wait after having your boys? I’m using the cap/condoms for contraception right now as didn’t want to mess with my hormones anymore, have been using barrier methods since he was born xx

hey no not had boobs done yet hopefully soon seein dr traynor on tues and mario the following week , didnt realise u’d had ur boobs done sorry didnt know what cc was , boobie forum novice .

dr said my mastitus must have been hormonal

dont blame ya for avoiding contraception screws up ur body , i got my tubes tied in the end cos was sick of implants n the pill .

heyy im a breast feeding support worker so hope i can help! once u stop feeding the milk should take a month at most to dry up but i have heard this once b4 but the woman didnt have implants, she had stopped for about 9-10 weeks and could still squeeze drops out! How long was there inbetween bfeeding and getting ur boobs done? How long have u had the implants for? and have ur boobs u just started leaking again or has it been the whole time? the only real way u could put ur mind at rest about cc is going back to mya and seeing some1? and if its not cc or anything to do with the implants see ur doctor? xx

I could still squeeze drops out 5 yrs after feeding my first, after feeding my second I went back on the pill and it dried me up in a matter if days x
