muscle spasms

i am 10 days post op and all has gone well so far. This morning I woke with terrible muscle spasms on one side. I called the nurse and she said its quite normal to have post operative pain now and maybe Id over stretched yesterday , which i may well have done , since ive felt like i could take on the world since the op lol! Have taken painkillers which is managing the pain. Just hadnt heard anyone mention this on here ….anyone else had it and if so how long did it go on for ?

Micha- I am also 10 days post op today and getting better as the day go by. This morning I woke up with a terrible back pain on my left side. I tried to do some ironing yesterday and I am guessing me being left handed may have overdone it yesterday. I had a back massage and hot compress which I hope will get better soon. We have to be tough girl and help each other through this ordeal.

Hiya keepmesweet….glad to hear u r doin well. Muscle spasms stopped thankfully but my bra is making me itch now lol! I havent ironed yet…when can we use bio oil , dya know? All dressings off now and im really pleased…they look fab! How r u feeling?x

micha- I only started using by sports bra today which is my 12 days post op because I did not want to press onto my scars. I have been using boob tubes with support which I got from new look, they are really comfortable. I understand we are not to put anything on the scar until after the 6 weeks.I can sleep on my side now which helps a lot with the muscle spasm. I feel much better today hon! You can try using a hair dyer on cold setting when your scar itches, it should help at least!
