Well here as promised is my diary of my experience with MYA, I didnt want to write this until i had received all the aftercare and had been discharged from MYA’S care so i could give you my full opinion :o).
Well my Journey started in late october 2009 when i went for my first consultation with the amazing lizzie at manchesters clinic and i told her that i was really unhappy with my 525cc because i was 6ft they didnt fill my chest. she said my traynor would proberbly suggest a 700/800cc. I then saw the incredible gary traynor on november 4th to discuss sizes, he told me i was craaaaaaaazy for wanting a 3rd boob job and was perfect as i was but it was no good i had no confidence in them anymore and the only answer was BA number 3 :o) I was SHOCKED when he said 800 900 or 1000cc and he suggested the bigger i was speechless!!!!!. I put my deposit down there and then and booked in for January 26th 2010 as it took 8 weeks for the implants to come in. Lizzie phoned me a few days later and said that she had ordered 1138cc as the 1000cc were not available etc so the journey began however over time i started realising that 1138cc were not what i wanted and nor mr traynor so on December 2nd 2009 my 1000cc implants were ordered from a company called eurosilicone in France and were told they would take 8 weeks. Sadly my operation had to be cancelled the day before as the implants had not arrived and so my surgery date was put to febuary the 3rd GUTTED!!!!!!!!
Febuary 3rd arrived and i felt sooooooo sick i arrived at the Manchester lifestyle at 7am with my fiance and was shown to room 101, I was 3rd on the list as i had the bbc film crew coming to meet me for some piolet thing they were doing with young people having surgery with MYA. Before they came mr Traynor came to see me and marked me up said did i still want to go ahead with 1000cc and would i not think they were 2 big i assured him it was the right size and so he said he would see me later, by this point i was pacing the room whilst my partner was on about his 10th cup of tea sooooooo unfair!!!! The nurse came in and asked me lots of questions and the looooooooovely anaesthatist came to see me and prescribed some emla cream for the nurse to put on my hand as i haaaate veins so have a phobia of canulas. I then met the BBC crew and my patient co-ordinator lizzie which took me from 9 until 11.15 which is when the lady from theatre came to get me so i removed my belly bar put on the awwwwwful paper nickers and started crying LOL. She escprted me down to the anaesthetic room where a LOVELY lady lay me on the bed and started attatching the monitors to me and then my anaesthatist came in a put me 2 sleep. I can honestly say he was the best anaesthatist in the world and i work with lost of them!!! One minute i was chatting away and half way theough conversation the next i woke up and it was all over with!!!!!
The first thing i did was look down and take a peek at my new boobs but was 2 out of it to think to much i just asked if they had got the 1000cc in and was relieved to hear that they had :o) :o) :o). 30 minutes later and i was back in my room with my fiance and 1 hour later i was eating bickys and drinking tea i felt great. I was allowed something more to eat at around 17.00 and gary traynor came to see me at 18.00ish and was shocked to see me out of bed fully dresses doing quizes in a magazing and said TAKE IT EAAAAAAAAASY hehe.. I was allowed home at 2100 after i had more interviews with the bbc and even dropped in at my mother in laws on the way home to collect some post i felt so well hehe. The following week was awful having to sleep sat up and i was in agony but i can honestly say it has been sooooo worth it. I had my post op check with gary traynor on Wednesday night and he said they just look amazing!!!
I can honestly say MYA are the best cosmetic surgery company every and lizzie and mr traynor were exceptional. The care i received was out of this world and the whole journey was such a amazing experience.
