My BA…1/4/10…Mr Traynor,Manchester Part 2!

I got took back to my room and the next 20 mins or so were quite a blur as I was still out of it.I was thirsty so was drinking quite a bit.I didn’t feel sick at all but wasn’t that hungry so just had a small sandwich and crisps later on.My sister and my friend came to see me and I was tired but still felt good.My friend left at 9 and then I just watched tv,was on the phone to my boyfriend and chilled out.I woke up pretty much every hour during the night but I wasn’t I’m pain or uncomfortable so don’t know why!The nurses during the night were great too.
When I got up in the morning though I was in a bit of pain and not feeling so good,I had a little cry but think it was just tiredness and shock really.Mr Traynor came and had a look and a feel of my boobs,he just said they are high up at the mo but will drop into place over time.Not long after I got discharged and my dad brought me home to my boyfriend who made me a bacon sandwich and looked after me all day .I was in a bit of pain and mostly on my right side,my boob and arm were hurting and the right incision has bled slightly which is normal,think it’s because I’m right handed.I was exhausted by last night and kept crying for no reason ha.Couldn’t get comfy in bed but I slept quite well and set my alarm for the middle of the night to take my tablets.A nurse rang me last night too which I thought was nice to see how I was doing and if I had any questions.
Woke up this morning feeling a bit better than yesterday,in discomfort but not bad pain.I’ve got baby wipes to wipe my body with as I don’t feel up to getting in a shallow bath yet as even with help it will be hard to sit down and get back up.
I’m drinking lots of water and juice,think it’s the anaesthetic in my system.
Just hope I don’t feel any worse and get better and better now!
My boobs are like 2 big cones ha and are really high up and sticking out but this is apparently normal and they will drop into place and shape.Does anyone know how long that usually takes?My nipples also seem swollen and bigger at the mo.
All in all I feel much better than expected at the mo and just hope I don’t have any problems as time goes on – I’m a worrier ha!
By the way I’m just under 5ft 4ins,weigh just below 9 stone but feel heavier at the mo and had 380cc under the muscle.I was about a 34A,didn’t have much breast tissue.
Sorry I have waffled on and Ive still probably forgot things!Any questions feel free to ask!Hope my boobs start to drop soon!
Anyone else who has just had their BA hope you are all feeling ok and anyone with theirs to come don’t worry (much easier said than done) but my experience in the hospital was really good!

Aww what a lovely story, i love reading these experiances, it makes it that bit easier knowing kind of wht to expect. Im glad everything went well for you happy healing chick xx cant wait to have mine done the next 2.5weeks is gonna drag for me. Congrats on the new boobies. what size do you want to achieve?

Get loads of rest, the mornings are definately the worse, ooooo getting out of bed
Mine started to drop and soften at about 2/3 weeks, but i had 380 overs so i’m sure an ‘unders’ girl will be able to advise better.

Hi Joann,im currently a 34 a and im having 380 overs in a couple of weeks surgeon told me i wud be a d/dd so fingers crossed ay. My sister who is a 34b is having 460 overs but will be expecting the same size a d/dd.

Thank u sam, i really hope they r a dd, i must admit i think they look smaller than i was expecting!! i just cant wait 2 have them measured…xx

when you feel better are you gonna put pics on sofem? would be nice to see how the 380’s look..#
