My BA 21st Feb – pancake day

I’m Currently being driven home and really can’t believe how little pain I’m in. Not sure if this is because I’m still feeling the affects of the morphine given during my OP.

my admission time was 7am at Highgate, and we were late as we got stuck in the traffic. Arrived at 7-30 and all was ok. In reception i was asked to fill in a form, checked my DOB which said 1946 instead of 1976 i wonder how many ladies have a boob job at 66 lol.I was shown to my room 307 which was nice. Hubby had a coffee and biscuits, which are free for your partner all day.

I was in my room for 20 mins or so and Mr Chantarasak came in to draw on me, he is a lovely man quiet but lovely. He said he didn’t know how long it would be as there were quite a few of us waiting to go to theatre. Another 10 mins passed and the anaesthetist came in to see me he asked lots of questions and seemed a nice chap. 10 more minutes and my nurse came in Marianne she was so lovely, she asked me lots of questions she was funny as she thought I was boring no piercings etc lol, she measured me for stockings and told me to put my gown on etc so I was ready for theatre. I gowned up and lay on my bed reading my magazines, bed so comfy wish I had one at home. 20-30 minutes later a guy from theatres came to get me to take me down, I asked if I could have a quick wee before I left he waited for me outside my room, surprised I managed one as I had been 4 times and not drunken anything.

We walked to theatre you put slippers on and I made sure to hold my gown which does up at that back, in theatre the you gas man checked my details why they were getting theatre ready I got the impression we were stood in a middle room with theatres on the left and right and that a surgery was also going on in the other theatre. The chap was lovely really smiley and asked me about work time off etc. He asked if I was cold it’s a bit chilly but I think I was nervous too. He then said they were ready for me and we went into theatre and I lay on the bed, I was asked to take my arms out of the gown but could still cover up my boobs and a blanket was put over me. The anethatist found a vein in my hand and put the cannula in. The young lad touched my shoulder and asked if I was ok and told me to imagine I was some place nice and placed the oxygen mask over my face, a few deep breaths and I was asleep.

The next thing I knew I was warm , so lovely and warm which for me a cold morsel was a lovely feeling. A lovely lady (wish I got her name) said hello Louise are u ok do u need some lip balm, she said everything went well and my breasts look natural and I should have a great result. I had warm air blowing on me like a hair dryer and the clock in front of me. I went down at 9-05 am was out by 9-15am and think it was 10am as I was back Ian my room by 10-15. There was a lady to my left on a bed , fast asleep I kept looking over and wanted to say hi that we were in the boobie club. The nurse then said she will take me back I thanked her, I think everything is a but jumbled lol when u talk. She told hubby all went well, when she left the room I burst into tears, I don’t know why, I think it was being reunited with hubby and affects of GA, had a chat with hubby and then Marianne came in she looked down my gown and you could genuinely hear she was gutted as I was bandaged saying mr C does that and I bet you wanted a look etc, she pulled the tape from the top away and looked down as did I they looked great and she said so and that the felt soft. She said she would leave me 45 mins and get me some toast and she said to drink loads of water to flush out the GA.

I did drink loads and buzzed for the toilet, she took me to the toilet then left the room as someone else buzzed her and she was on her own. In the loo I had a bee in my bonnet about getting the paper pants off and my own pants on, I felt very queasy and shouted hubby to come in a minute, I said can I just rest my head on your chest and stood there like that, the next thing I was aware of was being on the toilet floor legs n the air (no pants on hadn’t managed to get the blasted things on) and hubby and Marianne looking over me.they got me back to bed and to be honest I was silly doing too much plus I’m used to eating every 3 hours and hadn’t eaten for 16 hours. I had my toast and sweet tea and felt better. I dozed a bit hubby was by my side the whole time and so sweet. The room was next to an office and he was getting annoyed as when I away sleeping the ladies were chattering and slamming cabinets. Marianne apologised and told me to mention it in my feedback form. My lunch at 1-30 was sausages and mash and veg plus icrcream and was yummy.

I asked Marianne when I could go and she said she wanted to see me use the loo again first lol. And go for a little walk. I managed this ok and she organised my sick note and prescription etc she really was great such a lovely lady.

Mr c also came back to see me he said the implants filled me out nicely and looked very natural.

I really can’t believe how little pain I’m in, have had no pain killers at all so far. I’m bandaged like a mummy so can’t get a decent look but my worry last night was am I going big enough, I think they are a lovely size and I look like I have a cleavage already they are high but not too high etc can’t wait to see them properly.

All in all a fantastic experience Marianne apologised as she felt bad I fainted and she wasn’t there, she said she had another member of staff working with her now, bless her she was sweet.

Also my pc Victoria from Brighton has been an absolute saint, I’ve text her at all hours and she is always so sweet, will be taking a big box of chocolates for her next week

ahh happy healing babe at least we only eat panckes now and dont have them for boobs lool well done x x

awh congratulations hun!!!great story sooo glad it all went well for you, i was thinkin bout you all day well i got my boobies too yeeeeyy all gone well 380 unders, got home bout half 7 and pain really kicking in now and feeling really sick so will post my story 2mrw wen i feel more up to it!! happy healing luv xxx
