Hi ladies. Here is my ba story. I had 380cc unders at park hill in Doncaster done by mr Kazzazi yesterday. I got to the hospital at 12.30pm. My admission time was 1pm. It was really difficult to find park hill as its attached to Doncaster royal infirmary but there are no signs! Anyway there is free parking opposite which was good. I was taken up to my room. A little while later the nurses came and prepared me with the fetching socks, paper pants and gown. The chef came to see me to sort meals (my husbands dinner cost £4.50) but I was only allowed soup and sandwiches. Wasn’t impressed as the menu was amazing. The anethastist came in a while later and I told him and the nurses before him that I did not want morphine, tramadol or pethidine. They wrote is everywhere and assured me they’d use other stuff instead. I then waited without having eaten or drunk for hours and hours until 3.30pm when mr Kazzazi came in, drew on me and said I was next. A few mins later the nurse came and walked me down to theatre. I sat on the bed. Said again no morphine, it doesn’t work, they quickly put the cannula in (he did it perfectly) and immediately the ga went in, I got the horrible taste in my mouth and was gone. I came round about an hour and a half later. Can’t remember much. Was in mild discomfort. I kept nodding off. Had a bit of toast. My husband had to do everything. I couldn’t move my arms much at all. Mr kazzazi popped in, poked my nipples? and said everything went well. My husband had to go to his hotel at 8.30pm so after that I had to call on the nurses a lot. Felt like a nuisance tbh. Also I found out id been given morphine. I asked for some different medication and was refused it. Had to have another dose of morphine. It didn’t work and as the anethastic wore of it hurt a lot more. Eventually I was allowed some ibuprofen and paracetamol which helped. I was brought my egg sandwich and that was it for food all day. Not impressed. Slept on and off all night. Got up about 3am for a wee. Was really wobbly and felt sick so had an anti sickness pill which sorted me out. Had breakfast at about 8am. It was a sausage, a rasher of bacon and some egg like you get in McDonald’s, some toast, cereal and fruit (was so sour I couldn’t eat it). I was really sore during the night but was told couldn’t have anything but morphine until 6am so by then I was really sore. Had diclofenac and co codamol since then but still very sore. Had the drains taken out about 10am (didn’t hurt) and the cannula out. Got really emotional for some reason at this point and started to cry. Felt a right tit lol! Was discharged at 11am and off we went. Really pleased with the op and results so far. So pleased to have (.)(.)’s at last
however gunna have a moan at my pc about the hospital especially the food xx
