hi girls just wanted to share my story with you, here goes

Pre op – 32 d (left) 32 c (right)

Surgeon – Helena Antoniadou

Implants – 230 and 350 microcell low profile overs (MLP)

Post op sports bra size – 34dd (34 for comfort rather than 32)

Height – 5 foot 6

Weight – 8 stone

Hospital – Preston

my admission time was 7:30 so me and my dad set off to preston first trust from near leeds at 5:50. we arrived at 7:25 and i was shown straight into my lovely room no.1. The nurse came straight in and filled in all the forms soon followed by the aneasthatist and medical doctor, lots of questions and form filling. i then had to change into the desirable gown knickers and stockings

My boobie buddy whayley arrived by this time so i popped across to her room and we had a little chat it was really nice to speak to somebody who was going through same thing.

Helena my surgeon came in at 9am and drew on me (my dads cue to go lol) she said i would be in theatre in an hour after hayley. at this point i was on my own but the nurses made me feel so welcome.

Unfortunatley this wasnt the case and i didnt get down til 2:30. Helena apologised for the delay. i was quite suprised that i wasnt nervous even laid on the theatre bed with the canular in!! aneasthatist gave me the anesthetic and said i would be asleep in 30 seconds and i said good night, then i was out of it.

Next thing i knew i was awake asking what size id had. the nurse confirmed id had 230 and 350ccs (for asymmetry) at this point i had a really bad stinging sensation going down towards my right nipple, but this soon passed with meds then i was fine.

I was taken back to my room and tried to have a bit of a sleep. the nurse helped me to go for a wee, i felt very dizzy but still no pain. I had some toast and a cuppa which was just what i needed. Tea was then served around 6pm and i managed to eat my yummy lasagne followed by ice cream and peaches.

Helena came round to make sure i was ok and checked me over and the nurses kept bobbing in to make sure i was comfortable and giving me my medication.

I was then able to get up and walk around on my own carrying my two lovely drains like little cluth bags lol. spent rest of night watching tv in my room then fell asleep still pain free.

I was up a few times in night slightly uncomfortable but eventually woke up at 6:30 and had some breakfast at 7ish. Me and hayley had a catch up on our experiences and we were both feeling pretty good considering.

My fiance arrived with my little girl at 9:30 and i said good bye to to lovely nurses and thanked them for everything.

Preston first trust is a lovely homely little hospital and the staff are fantastic, food is yummy too. I am so happy with my result so far even though theres a long way to go but all ive ever wanted out of this is for them to be the same size. Fingers crossed they will be. Good luck to all you pre op girls, im still pain free just feels slightly heavy and achey. so glad ive done this ive added a few piccies too

Congratulations Kat, I went through Leeds and thought they were amazing, my PC Louisa has been great. I also went to Preston which was a nice little place too, the nurses were lovely. Take it easy xx

Just looked at your pics, they already look better proportioned you must be really happy! She sure tapes your chest up well doesnt she lol! Also have to comment on your pyjamas, I brought exactly the same ones of my op and after lol, perfect with the button up front xx

Ah glad all went well Hun!! Great experience wasn’t it! I had mine done yesterday including lift and can’t believe how pain free I am! Waitin for it to all hit me!!
