my boob job story!

i always enjoyed reading others’ stories after their op so thought id do my own! i had my ba yesterday.. am size 12, 10st and was a 34A. had my op with mr adamo in highgate.
my admission time was 9.30am but got there about 45mins early as left a lot of time to allow for bad traffic because of the snow! filled in some forms and then waited to be taken to my room (201), was shown everything in the room and then left to wait for the nurse to come. i was told at this point that the anaesthatist (cant spell!) was running late due to the snow so may have a wait. this worried me a bit as im diabetic and was told id be first of the day as not eating can be dangerous for me. the nurse came and took my blood pressure, height and weight and asked me lots of questions and then i got given the lovely paper knickers and stockings, cant believe how sexy i looked! i then had to wait a very long time for mr adamo and the anaesthetist to come see me, turns out i hadnt been first of the day and i actually had to wait til 1pm to go down to theatre. i was quite scared and crying a bit but the anaesthetist was lovely and talked to me to calm me down and take my mind off of it, i remember seeing mr adamo just before i went out and that leona lewis was playing on the radio! the canula didnt hurt that much at all and iv had one before so knew what it would be like.
i came round about 1.35pm, and the first thing i said was that it hurt so they gave me more painkillers in the drip and i asked if it had all gone ok which they told me it had! they kept me in for a while to take blood pressure and make sure i came around ok, i was shaking a bit but wasnt cold, they told me it was just from the anaesthetic. the nurse who looked after me in the recovery room was lovely, so kind and offered me lots of hospital vodka (water!). i wasnt in that much pain and it just felt really heavy and tight and a bit of pressure and felt like i couldnt breathe too well. i had a peek at them and they looked great! nowhere near as massive and swollen as i was worried about them being! they then took me back to my room where my dad was waiting for me. i was only a daycase so just spent the rest of the day napping and watching tv. the nurse who looked after me and did my blood pressure was lovely, very helpful and caring. mr adamo came to discharge me about 6.30 so i got dressed, with the help of my dad as was kind of difficult, and went home!
have hardly had any pain at all, sooo glad as this was what i was most worried about, it just feels tight and uncomfy and i cant stretch my arms much. i feel like im walking around like a zombie coz i dont want to move them too much! other than that im feeling quite normal, tho am waiting for this to change which im scared about. havnt put on a sports bra yet so not sure what size they are but they look very swollen and are under my armpits a bit! my right is more swollen than the left and they both feel really hard!
anyway sorry this has been such a long essay! overall was such a good experience, all the nurses and mr adamo were great and friendly and apart from the 3hr wait i had which i wasnt expecting it was great!

ah congrtulations on your new puppies lol, sounds like its gone rlly well for u, ive got mine today getting picked up in 20 mins so am rlly nervous, xx

Congrats meganb on your new boobies, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water it helps to flush out your system!
I bet you cant stop looking and touching them …… I couldnt when I had mine done 3 weeks ago.

hey lisa – i had 380cc overs, have just put a 34D sports bra on which is amazing, bit tight on the incisions though 😐

joanne – good luck, hope it goes well! i was very nervous but theres no need to be!

jane – thanks, am definitly resting lots, i got the sex and the city complete boxset for xmas so making my way through that! and yes, definitly keep looking and touching them! i cant believe its finally happened, iv got boobs!!

meganb, hiya hope your heeling ok! im m also having mine done my Mr adamo, and am same size you WAS and am having 380ccs, i really wana be a DD, do you think you will be a D or DD, prob hard to say because your still swollen. Take care. xx
