So I arrived at highgate hospital at 11.30 with my gay best friend josh, we was shown to my room number 209 and was told someone hadn’t showed up so I would be going down shortly, the nurse came 1st to ask me questions and gave me my gown, paper nikers and my stockings then the anaethetist and shortly after Mr. C came to draw on me. Another anaethetist (who was quite fit) came in to take me down to theatre. Had my cannula inserted in my hand n the g.a injected I wanted to close my eyes cos it was awkward the fit man was stood over me but I didn’t want him to think I was asleep when I wasn’t then suddenly hit me n I was out!
Woke up in recovery feeling really perky chatting away to the staff, then felt drowny n drifting back to sleep, woke up shivering n had the heater on me while I waited to go bk to my room. After I got back to my room I felt fine no pain at all. Rang my mum to tell her how it went n just chilled out all night. I didn’t sleep tht well because I was on nights over the weekend n my body clock was all over the place so I was wide awake at 3am this morning. Got my bandages off this morning n got to see them properly I love them they look nice n natural as I wanted. Put my m & s zip up sports bra on this morning it fits ok was bit of a squeeze to get it on but its comfy. Still no pain just a tight achy feeling.
