my day case had to be changed to a night case :(

had a call from my pc today and they have changed my day case to a night stay as park hill hospital only can do 2 day cases and i was last to book so mine had to be changed why didnt the know this when i booked it i wanted to stay in hotel with my partner but have no other choice or i change the date which i dont want to do anyone else had this happen to them xx

Hi Rosie, I had a night stay and i really didn’t want to but I was sooooo glad I did in the end!! It’s really not as bad as you think its gonna be hunny!! Plus if you’re in pain or anything goes wrong you’re in the right place!!!

Just try and enjoy your day as it really does go soo quickly!! I would do it all again in a heartbeat! xx

what time did you have your op? did u have yours at park hiil?

Hiya i was at rochdale, my op was at 2 and came back to my room just before 3 but because of the GA i was dozing for a good couple of hours lol the day honestly goes so quick! my admin time was half 1w and before i knew it i was being discharged the next day! i’m sure you’ll be fine hun! xx

over nite stays are better!! just means u get looked after more!! xx

mine got changed to over night, i loved it had my op at 6.50pm then was in my room watching the soaps and eating a 3 course meal yum yum lol xx

my admission was 3.30pm i was at highgate in london and the food was lush, i had pate on toast then steak mash and veg and a stunning cheesecake for dessert mmmmmmmmmmm oh and a full cooked breakie b4 i went home in the morning so i was a happy girl……. with boobies lol xxx

I was a daycase then they changed me to overnight, I was in a bit of a state and was in and out of sleep all day after my op from 2pm until 11pm, So happy that I stayed overnight in the end and the staff were lovely. I also got £100 off because they changed it. x

i havent been charged for over night as i had already booked for day case and my pc said its the hospitals mistake, what time was your admission 3stars? x
