hey everyone,
I had my BA on friday with Mr. Singh … cant believe its happened already. I arrived at 8:00AM on friday, filled in some details then was taken to my room where i stayed for the night. It was a spacious room and had my own shower, wardrobe, safety box and freeview!!! Mr. singh and the anaesthetis came in to go over what will happen and if i had any last questions. After the nurse had filled in some forms and took my pulse etc they came to get me around 10:10 and i was taken to theatre. the anaesthetis started making conversation as he drugged me up lol … i will admit when he injected the GA i couldnt believe the weird and uncomfortable feeling it was. i had never had GA before so for me it wasnt a nice feeling but it was over in seconds. I looked at the clock and it was 10:25, i can remember everything went a bit blurry and the next thing im waking up with this heater under the bed, i must of been shivering in surgery, and i have babylons!!! i couldnt believe it … i looked at the clock and it was 11:40. i asked the nurse how long it took and she said 30mins!!! for me it felt like i had been in a long sleep lol and i couldnt feel any pain or discomfort at all. i was taken back to my room and that was that. i couldnt stop giggling and talking when i had woken up … everyone i spoke to on the phone said i sounded high as a kite! i felt good all day, didnt feel any pain and i had slept for an hour throughout the day. i was already going to toilet myself without any help getting about. the only thing which was unusual was how heavy my boobs felt when i would get up… it was like weights pushing on me. the food was lush and before i knew it it was time for bed , they said i could have a sleeping pill if i wanted so i said yes. the nurses were brilliant … they checked on me loads throughout the day and were really nice when i left. the whole experiece was fab!! i cant believe ive had it done already! i went from 36 small B and im now wearing a 38E sports bra. im not in any pain now and im walking about doing things for myself. dont do too much though cos without u knowing it could have some effect on the healing process and how long the scars take to heal. even if you’re not in much pain i would recommend that u still take some painkillers to prevent any pain from occuring. im seeing the nurse tomorrow so hopefully everything will be ok so far, ive been strapped up alot so i cant see if my scars are ok or not and wether or not i have any bruising. everything feels fine so far and i cant wait to throw out all my old bras… hello new wardrobe lol. hope this helps , my experience has been brill and i would recommend MYA to anyone.
