My Experience with MYA

Hi Lovely ladies,

Hope all of you are well and having a great FRIDAY!

I had my BA and RHINOPLASTY last saturday with the wonderful Mr. Fallahdar. I had 340cc partials (hp) from a 32b/c.

The week before my surgery was indeed the worst week of my life stress wise, personally and professionally. (my partner lost his grandmother) so by the time Sat came, i was exhausted and feeling very low. Anyway, i credit the staff at MYA and Highgate for making me feel tones better and being understanding given the circumstances.

My Admission time was 1pm, i arrived at Highgate just after 12 and was greeted by a lovely receptionist and nurse who took me to my room quite quickly..

i got settled in and changed into the gown. shortly after i was measured up for my stockings and told that Mr Fallahdar would be in shortly.. i wasn’t feeling nervous but began to feel really sick and headachy, my boyfriend was hitting up the room service as though it was the Hilton Hotel, he ordered a three course meal within 10 minutes of arriving and made himself comfy in bed beside me! lol.

I had a migrane and thought that they wouldn’t operate so i got very upset and stressed out, one of the nurses came in a told me not to worry, they hooked me up to a drip, gave me some pain relief and told me to rest. Mr Fallahdar came in at this point to confirm what size i wanted and mark me up. he took some pics of me and to be honest i felt so ill,i just wanted to lie down and sleep. I did just that! i was woken up at 4.00 and taken to theatre, i felt a million times better and was really excited about my op! i have waited to have this moment for the last 11 years and couldn’t believe it was finally here!

after some chit chat with more lovely nurses the administered the GA and told me to sleep, all i remember was a tingly feeling in my chest, i pictured my BF and closed my eyes. that was it. gone!

I don’t remember anything when i came round or even how i got back to my room. i was in NO PAIN at all. eventually when i sobered up my BF was hovering over me ad smiling, he said i looked like a car crash but he still loved me! haha. he is very straight talking. of course, i wanted to see my new boobs and nose so opened my gown, i remember thinking WOW!

I was on top of the world, it was a combination of my surgery results and the drugs – fab. Needless to say the team at Highate took great care of me, i had lots of food and tea. my BF had got me some flowers and lots of chocolates so i was in heaven!

i didn’t sleep much that night – i was way too happy, instead i sent pics of my boobs to my friends and chatted to my BF most of the night. i think i actually messaged Reecara on her at 4am who replied later on kindly saying to get some rest, lol.

I was discharged on sunday at 9am and left at 9.30.

since then i haven’t been really happy, i haven’t had any down days, pain, sickness or anything like that at all. My PC, Nadja has been in touch to see that i am okay and so have the nurses at MYA – I must say, i can’t fault these ladies at all. i am extremely pleased with my experience with MYA and in particular the Nadja, Sarah and of course MR. Fallahdar. He is an absolute gentleman and an artist! i couldn’t be happier with my results. I will be returning to MYA for any other procedures i may want in future and can definitely say that i will be recommending them to my fiends and clients alike. Customer service plays a huge part in my decision making process, it matters to have the right attitude and passion for what you are doing. i found MYA had this down to a T. i felt happy, comfortable and safe with my choice. i couldn’t be happier right now. i hope all of you have the same experience as i did and THANK YOU TO MYA for making my insecurities a thing of the past and making me feel HAPPIER! xxx

Ah this is so lovely! Do u mind if I add you chick? I have my initial consultation on Thursday to discuss ba and rhinoplasty at the same time, this is a story sent from heaven for me!!!!

Would you recommend having both procedures done at the same time? Have you had any difficulties recovering from both together?

im glad you feel happy – honestly its the best thing I’ve ever done. having both done together really has increased my excitement about seeing results (its such a big change!) and hand on heart – i have had zero pain! slept so well and felt so comfortable. no booby greed or down days at all. I’ve stopped taking pain killers too and had no adverse effects. i really feel great. which surgeon are you seeing? def do it hun. i will post pics tom or sunday of nose too.xx

This is literally my first consultation on Thursday! Plucked up the courage to book last week after all these years!! So glad i called now after hearing your story! Who was your surgeon? I want to go to my consultation as well equipped as poss on thurs!

What kind of rhino did you have? I’m still learning all the proper names for procedures! Think I’m getting the hang of the boob terminology, but lost on noses!! Ha!

ahhh I’m pleased i have! i had MR. Fallahdar and i had closed Rhino. had very slight bruising which has now gone! the cast comes off tomorrow. which clinic are you visiting sweetie? xx

Upper Wimpole Street chick! So closed rhino is where all the incisions are inside, right? I think my problem is mostly my tip and nostrils so im thinking maybe il be needing open rhino? Im sure all will become clearer on 15th! Looking forward to seeing your nose pics! Your boobs are looking fabby fab fab!! x

Thank you so much, I’m glad that my story has had a +ve effect. i really did have the best experience i can’t explain how elated i feel at the moment, I’m a very realistic person and have realist expectations of surgery etc, this has been the best experience of customer service and client care i have had. very happy.

I was looked after by Nadja at the upper wimpole clinic, who is your PC(Jessabella) and I’m not sure what type of rhino you will require honey, I’m thinking closed though. my surgeon removed a small bump and refined my tip too. so far it looks nice.even in its little cast. lol x
