My friend went with Harley Med in 2006 and had 5 op. at first they wouldnt replace the implants saying she broke them, then made out she had breast cncer. then after had 5 ops and now she is waiting for a scan to see if she has PIP.

    she is sueing.

so now shes said to me, if i was you dont get them its op after op. not worth it.

im unsure if shes being a bitch or nice. i understand shes had a bad time… ive done my reasearch n mya was far the best!!

i also understand if anything went wrong Mya will cover me for 5 years and the implants will cover for 10 years. so aslong as they last 10years then i no i will want another op. alot of things would of changed , i could of had a baby etc. you never no!! ive been waiting for ages for this day and im 2 days away! yay! but now shes trying to put me off… ( Its not working )

    help please.

i would just ignore her. At the end of the day its your decision and if you have been wanting it for ages i wouldnt let anythin get in the way! Its the best thing iv ever done and i feel soo happy :) good luck chick xxx

maybe she is thinking of her own experiance, which doesnt sound a very good one but i think she has just been very unlucky, things have moved on since she had hers done, and there is now no risk of pips being used, so id say go for it, xx

It may be a bit of both. Obviously she’s had a bad experience and is going to be biased towards the negative chances which could happen as shes experienced them! But remember thats just extremely unlucky…

You do have to remember that only rupture and CC is covered by MYA though (to my knowledge), and if something is the fault of the surgeon it seems to be covered although they arent very keen to re-op about this it seems from people who have experienced this!

So as long as ur prepared for things which could happen then its all good :)

Its the best thing i did, even though im a little unhappy at the mo its still better than having nothing before…

it depends on ur priorities i guess!

is rupture cover with the implants for 10 years with CUI i got told. and aftercare with mya 5years ?

Yes i think shes had a ruff road… but most of it is down to them implants and the company not replacing them straight away x
