My Laser Lipo story :)

Hey ladies I had my Laser Lipo on the 7th of December with Dr. Kingdon at Birmingham clinic and thought I would share my story I arrived at the clinic at about 10 for my admission time at 10:30. I was really nervous on the journey there and whilst waiting in the room upstairs for my turn so the nurse offered me 2 valium which I took and my nerves went straight away .

I was given sexy paper knickers and a paper hat to wear then led into the room. The 2 nurses I had were so lovely and reassuring. Then Dr. Kingdon came in and greeted me with a smile. I told him about being nervous and he said no need to be and he was right , He then injected the solution into my stomach and didnt hurt at all, having my tattoo done hurt more. After I was numb he made the incisions and started on with his work. I was watching the machine just off to the left of me and asked him how high the nunbers on the machine had to go and when he said 30,000 I was like oh my god that loads . But it felt like it took no time at all as I was just watching the numbers go up on the machine and before I knew it I was done, Then he went on to remove the fat. After I had finished the nurse and Dr,Kingdon padded me up and then put the compression garment on. My mum met me in the side room and we had a nice cuppa and a biscuit, then I was allowed to go home . A little uncomfortable on the way home after anaestetic wore off so I took 2 co-codamol and I was feeling great

When I got home I went to bed for abit as I was quite sore by this stage but not in any pain. When I got up I had my tea and tried to relax. I went to bed with the pads on my bed and woke up in the morning and had leaked quite abit of water haha but this was the only leaking I had. For a few days the bruising did feel like I had been kicked by a horse and like I had pulled a massive muscle! I am now almost 2 weeks post op and feel great! My stomach is already flatter and cant wait for it to get even more so! If you ladies are considering Laser Lipo I would say go for it as it has been the best decision I ever made.

I cant comment on how you will feel after traditional lipo as I had Laser and its abit different lol but you will be absolutely fine

Just read your story and its been helpful however I do have few questions if you wounldnt mind helping me out with. Did you suffer alot of swelling? If so did this stop you from being able to wear your current clothing. I am planning to have laser lipo in the abdomen region and I am concerned I will look pregnant when I go back to work in my normal clothes due to possible swelling! What is the garment like you have to wear after the op?
