My measurement under the bust is 31, the fullest part is 35 – what bra size would this make me please?
iv been wondering this aswel hun
do places measure differently these days? i went off a guide on the net last night cz im dying to know, only 2wks post op, and i was between 30/31 underneath and 38 at fullest part , it sed i would be 34/36F!!!!
i dont look an F at all, but i no they do say u measure bigger than what u look, but im in DD sports bras nw, n have been naughty n tried a few normal ones on n wouldnt say i would need bigger than DD, maybe an E. its v confusing!xx
Well from going on a site and measuring as instructed I come up at a 36AA… it’s laughable!!
That was from here http://www.uk-lingerie-guide.co.uk/measuring.shtml
I really don’t get how it can be so hard to measure ourselves, why o why doesn’t everywhere follow the same procedure, it’s crazy x
Chelsxx…u would be a 32F. Implants sit differently in a bra so u would always need bigger than u look.xxx
The difference between ur under bust and fullest part is 4, each number is a cup size x
ticky88 – I measure 30/36 so would that make me a 30e???? I used that calculator and it came up with 34c for me….thats what size sports bra fits me too….
There’s no chance a 30/32inch back would fit me, I understand your method though and you’d think it’d make sense but that wouldn’t work if I went shopping for bras.
I tend to buy 34/36D’s and they’ve been fine, before surgery I was a 34A xx
Its not my method its la senza’s and ann summers. If your 31 inchs round the back then a 32 inch bra should fit u?
Same here emily2010. I used to buy 32a/34a/34aa. Im no way a 30 back… It sounds good though!! I’m going bra shopping at La senzas
Ye people always say La Senza measures big in comparison to other places – the bras I’ve had so far have all been 34/36D though and have fit fine but I can’t see anywhere to get that calculation right?? Lol… it’s all crackers!!
The only time I got it was when I put into that calculator 31 and 35+5 into the other part… that gave me a 36DD which sounds more right any of em… baffling!!x
hi chelsxx, i measure 30″ under my boobs, and 38″ at the fullest, and i’m wearing a 34e (i find the 32 band way too tight). It’s best to just go and try loads on, and buy which ever is the most comfortable hun xx
nooo chance i would fit in 32! i defo need 34/36, feel more comfortable in 36. i rly dnt like la senzas measuring either, never have. yeaa im jst gna go of what i feel comfortable in
xx
I do have 2 La Senza bras and they are both 36dd xx
Well girls, I went to La Senza to be measured today and was told a 34D/E, completely not what i’d expected from them as everyone had said how small they measure the back…
…then I went to Bravissimo which I was told is the ‘bra fitter of all bra fitters’ and they ‘measured’ me up at 34E/32F…. I don’t get these sizes they come up with – the 32F fit lovely according to her but I felt it was a little too tight and she explained that it needed that amount of support… she said if I wanted to up the back size then I’d more than likely be an ‘E’ cup.
Anyway, I can’t say i’m overly sure that these sizes will fit me elsewhere but it sure gave me a nice confidence boost for the day
WOW!!! So youre not a 36AA then?! lol. What cc did you have hun cos i had 340 from an a and now measure 30 under the bust/36 round fullest. Have tried a couple of bras (3 wks po) and 34c/32d seem to fit…. xxx
Hahaha nope, not a 36AA funnily enough!! Good job really since I’m now 4grand lighter lol.
I was 34A (but that had never been measured in a shop, they may have told me different – Mr Kazazzi said an ‘A’ tho).. and I had 410cc, I expected to be about 34D, they look about that altho ppl do keep saying they’re massive, I don’t really think they are but wi those bra sizes, maybe they are? Lol – get measured, could be a nice surprise!! xx
I cant wait to get measured and wear a bra. I had Mr Traynor and hes told me no bra what so ever for 6 weeks! Its doing my head in! I’d be made up with a C/D cup. You must be thrilled!!
