My MYA Loan is DECLINED :(

Is this the loan through First Medical Loans or did you pay

Oh no! how awful! you must be gutted! Try tescos loans, we got turned down with 2 others but got accepted with them and it should get sorted really quick xx

Oh noooooo thats awful i contacted them yesterday and had my loan agreed today – i only need to borrow

Hey, so sorry to hear about this set back…hope it doesn’t mean you have to wait a long time before you are able to go through with your BA. Is finance not an option, or is this the same thing as a loan? I haven’t had a consultation yet (3rd of oct) and I’m hoping to be able to pay via finance and would be gutted if the same thing happened.

The same thing happened to me.Absolutly gutted but was really trying to save my deposit before the end of September but now doesn’t look like it’s going to happen!!(Needed 2 new tyres on my car).I’m giving up a bit,feel like i’ll never get them done.:sad:

I spoke to my PC today and she has been on to the head office to sort it out. PHEW!!!! ( good job tho’ cause I was considering robbing a a bank)
So it’s back on for the 7th Oct, woohoo.

Melissa – if they say yes then they won’t retract that, they hadn’t actually said yes to me, they just said I COULD get a MYA loan !? I have been asked to provide a guarantor and it’s been accepted now.

For those who tryed to get a loan through first medical and got declined did you have to pay i think i was told

Lisa F, don’t give up! I was declined so many loans and thought it was all over…
LloydsTSB gave me quite a good deal in the end at 9% APR, but I found it makes a difference if you PHONE as opposed to apply online…
I hear as sara said that Tesco is a good bet and also Sainsbury’s…
Keep trying and let us know how you get on hun!
