My story 04.04.12

Hi girls through I’d share my story as I’ve read other girls and think they are helpful.

I wasn’t with Mya I went to Nuffield hospital in Newcastle.

Stats are: 5’2 8 stone size 32a under the muscle 310cc moderate profile.

So my admission time was 7.15 got there at 7 and got shown to room. About fifteen minutes later my surgeon came in took some photos and done his art on my little boobs lol. Then I got my stockings, gown and silly paper knickers. The anaesthesist came shortly after asked a few questions then at 8 I got took down to theatre. I’ve never had GA before so was so nervous but they were lovely. Got the cannula in my hand then shut my eyes and I was out.

I came round at 10 and I had druel on my mouth but I couldn’t move my arms or speak so the nurse had to give me a muscle relaxer reversal as my muscles had been relaxed. Felt sleepy and a bit sore so I got a couple shots of morphine then got took back to my room at about 11. I needed the toilet so went straight to loo but peeing was so hard it was just coming out in little bits I’m fine now though must have just been from GA. Drinking tea helps for this.

Touch wood I’ve not had any sickness or nausea from GA I feel great. Boobs feel tight but only feel sore when I move my arms it’s like a bruised feeling but it’s bearable. Just going to make sure I take my meds even through the night. I’ve got antibiotics, codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen so lots of drugs lol. I managed a chicken sandwich about 1 but my mouth was so dry so was hard to eat.

About 4 the nurse came made sure I had ate, drank and could move around and discharged me. So I was back home at my mam and dads for half 4. Just chilling with my mam and eating chocolate lol so appetite is still there.

Apparently day 2-3 are the worst so I will keep you updated on my recovery.

Thanks cantwait. What did you do about the peeing? It’s still happening I don’t feel like I can get it all out so i constantly feel like I need to go lol X

It wore off in about 24 hours for me so guess it had something to do with the GA. hope it sorts itself soon! Xx

Thanks Stacie. Glad you feel great. I’m the same just sore under right arm and to the side. We just need to make sure we keep on top of the painkillers. Hope your recovery goes well chick x

hi claire hun. glad everything went well. wohoooo we have 310s!! i uploaded one pic yesyerday of my boobies when i got home if u wanted a peek to compare. get lots of rest. im in quite a bit of pain today so just chillin in bed with my electronic fag! well done again babes. all done!! x

They look absolutely great hun. Are yours high profile? Mine seem to stick out a lot more at the sides than yours I think it’s just until they drop into place. I’m not in too much pain today I’m just really sleepy was up half the night needing the loo lol. Just chilling on my mams recliner chair trying to stop my little dog from jumping on me and my new additions haha. They are very itchy and I’ve started getting stabbing pains every now and then. Well done too hun can’t believe I’ve finally done it. I’ll up load photos probably tomorrow when I have my laptop and we can compare xx

yeyy glad ur not feeling to bad and thankyou. they look good from the front but weird from the side lol! im not sure if they are high. i was down for medium/ high so i actually dont know! aw bless your little dog! he proba knows ur a little unwell and wants to give u a cuddle! yes we have DONE it. il keep an eye out for your pics im really sleepy too loving these painkillers!! im needing the loo alot but everytime i get up to go i have to walk downstaira and everything goes balck like im gunna faint so mum bought me a buckett up. how discusting is that!! xx
