My story 1 Day post op (pics uploaded too)

Hi Girls im 1 day post op and i thought i would tell you all about my experience.

Ok so I got the tube to Highgate and arrived early. My admission time was 10am and I got there at 9:15, I sat in reception for about 15 mins before the receptionist gave me some forms to fill out and then at about 10:10 some guy took me to my room. I was so nervous it suddenly all started to feel real, I was told to unpack my things and to put them in the wardrobe.

After about 10 mins I had the first knock on the door it was Dr singh, He asked me to sign the consent form and then he drew on me with a black pen then he took a couple of photos, he then asked me to put on the surgery gown and wait to see the nurse he also said that i will be waiting about 2 hours as he has a couple of girls to do before me. The nurse came to the room about 5 mins later and gave me my sexy pants which you might aswel not wear as they are completly see through lol. she also measured me for my stocking and took mt height and weight. She then told me to get uder the covers and get comfey. And about 3 mins later the anethatist came to see me and introduced himself.

Whilst we were waiting my boyfriend made full use of the facilities he had a couple of coffee’s and a nice chicken sandwich i could have killed him as i was so hungry and thirsty, the funny thing was he even starting setting the room temperature to suit him bloody cheek lol I said to him I ave paid a lot for this room and he is getting all the benifits lol.

I then sat and watched tv i was getting really nervous i kept on thinking about being put to sleep and the needle etc. eveytimei heard a nock on the door my heart early jumped out of my chest. My surgery time ended up being 2:25pm I was so nervous when the nurse walked me down to theatre. I thought I would have to walk into the theatre but I did not there was a little room just before there where you get put to sleep then they wheel you into surgery.

This was now by far my scariest part of the whole thing (i dont know why because in the end it was fine) I was told to take off my gown and slippers and jump onto the bed, Then the really nice anethitist put the drip into my hand he was so nice he knew i was scared so he kept talking to me to take my mind off it, Then he put the anesthetic into the same drip, another nurse then came in she was lovely, the anethitist then told me he was going to put me to sleep at which point i burst into tears they both tried to make me feel better but i was just so scared, he then put the drug in to put me to sleep and i got this funny pain in my chest all i can remember was saying to him is my chest ment to feel like this? and he said yes and then that was it out like a light I dont remember 1 thing its like your brain has been erased for 40mins as the next thing i remember was being woken up in recovery I did not feel sick and I did not have a sore throat I was just really tired, the poor girl next to me was crying and being sick so i guess it effects everyone differently. I was then wheeled back to my room where I slept for about 2 hours I was sweating loads when i woke up i needed the loo and i was told that i had t call the nurse the first time i wanted to go just incase i collapsed, It was a very strange feeling getting up for the first time but i would not say painfull just tight and dizzy from the morphine. after i had been to the toliet there was a mirror in there so i had a look at my new boobies and i was soooo pleased with them they looked so much better than i had expected. when i went back into the room the nurse asked me if i would like a drink andsome toast i said yes as i was starving and thursty, then when i had,had that i was given a 3 course meal for free there was 3 options on each course i had brocolli and stilton soup, pasta and then a cheese cake. It was all yummy, the nurse said that i could go home when i was ready as my blood pressure had gone back to normal now (i forgot to say the murse will be in and out every half an hour to check your blood pressure ad your pulse) So the nurse took out the nedle and i then got dressed which was a struggle and then at 8pm i went home.

I am now on day one and I can honestly say I had a grat nights sleep even though i had to sleep upright, Im in no pain really just a tight chest and I dont feel sick, Im just very thursty and driving the boyfriend mad by getting him to fetch me everything lol. I am so happy that i made the decision to do this i just wish i had, had the money years ago to do it.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Dr singh for being so nice to me and for giving me the boobs I have always wanted!! also thank you to the fantastic nurses, doctors and anethitists at Highgate you all made my experience wonderfull.

Sorry if i babbled on lol just wanted to let you know s much as i could if i have missed anything that you want to know please ask.

What size were you before and what size cc did you have? Did he say what size you may end up? I have requested a consultation with him but I don’t know what size I want xx

Hi belle, I was a empty B before and i told him i would like to be a D/DD so he said i should have 410cc. Im so pleased with his decision he has given me exactly what I wanted. I think a lot of girls have had smaller implant than they thought they needed and have been dissapointed so I would always go bigger rather than smaller hun. xx

Lynz28 Honestly I am the biggest baby ever and I have really bad phobias about needles, blood and hospitals. You will be fine they are so nice at the hospital, The only slight pain you will feel will be the needle going in your hand but that lasts 1 second he is so good as he does this loads every day. they did say to me that if i had wanted the numbing gel then i should have let the hospital know a few weeks before hand so they could have ordered it in ( if you do that then you wont feel a thing hun) Honestly the procedure is great you have nothing to worry about i promise hun. xx

Thanks, will ask what he thinks is the biggest I can go. I’m very petite so don’t want to look silly lol wow I would think 410 hp overs would make you bigger xx

lol im not sure? have you had a look at my pics? do you think they will be bigger than that? I love them though lol, I would not want them smaller now im dreading the swelling going down lol.

Mr singh is know for giving girls bigger impants than any other surgeon but he does do a great job.

oh i will definately be asking for the numbing gel 😆 i see spots in front of my eyes when i think about needles lol im not scared of the op or the pain afterwards, just the needle! yes im strange that way lol, if i knew i was guna be out cold b4 they put the needle in i wouldnt be nervous at all! lol xx

hi lynz, i promise you there is nothing to worry about hun, i panicked about the whole thing so much and in the end there was no reason too, the needle only hurt for a couple of seconds. I usually pass out lol but i was lying down on the bed and the guy putting the needle in was so good and really friendly.

xlyannex – i hyperventilate n thats wot makes me pass out lol, if i have the numbing gel i will be fine lol in a way im kinda glad that this will be my first ever op cuz im going into the unknown lol if that makes any sense at all lol xx

yeh it was the same for me so i did not know what to epect either but it was no where near as bad as i thought. Definatly call the hospital as soon as you can to arrange thu numbing gel for you. good luck with your op hun.

I have seen Marion Grobb for my first consultation, but here so much good about Dr Singh, Dr Adamo and Dr Traynor…but dont know where anyone of them operate?? take care

Hi michele Dr sing operates at highgate hun, I’m not sure if he goes anywhere else though.

I can definatly recomend him though, he is a lovely man too. I hope you find a surgeon you like

Such a good story, love the fact you mentioned your choice of menu haha. I’m not nervous yet because it doesn’t seem real but I reckon as soon as I get to that hospital I will freak out. I live in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire…been to see a surgeon from mya at the st albans clinic…but all you girlies rant about all these surgeons (mainly in london) and want to be sure I pick the right one?? so scared of having it done and it gets done by the wrong surgeon?? did you feel like that or was you happy straightaway with your surgeon?? x

Hi michele, I knew as soon as I had seen Dr singh he was right for me

He really put me at ease. All the girls on here has said so many things

About him (all good) infact I don’t think I have heard a bad word agains him.

He has looked after me so well I’m now on day 3 now just about no pain at all

The only pain I feel is when I get up. I have full use of my arms, I can sleep

Absolutly fine. Infact I keep forgetting I have had it done because I’m in no pain lol.

You will know who is right for you hun. You just get that feeling. You will always have doubts as it is a big

Decision but you will be so happy with the end result.

Hi lynz, no I can honestly say I have had no pain what so ever since the op I have full use of my arms

And I have had no trouble sleeping? I was epecting the opposite to be honest I must just be lucky. I can flush the chain brush my hair and lift things

With no problem what so ever the only discomfort I have is when I stand up and that is very minimal. I hope you have the same

You can have your boobs done from 3 weeks after consultation I think hun, and defo just go for a day case hun

Because it will save you £400 and if they think you need to stay in then they will keep you in for free.

If you want some more discount you can say that I recomended you and they will give you £150

3 weeks is ages i want to go as a daycase, just hope they let me cuz i live about an hour away from the hosp thanx for all ur advice hun its really helped me loads, cant wait 4 my consultation on tues hehe its weird to think that this time next month i could have new boobies lol xx can u tell im excited lmao

I can tell you are excited lol. I was too. They should let you go in as a day case hun if not stay at a premier inn near by as it will cost you about £30 for the night not £400 lol.

You will be so happy when you have had them done hun. Its the best thing I ever did. And the 3 weeks will fly by you can shop for everything you need. If your not sure just ask hun. X x

Thanx hun, my dad is driving us through and my mum is guna be staying with me while my other half looks after our boys, i just hope im first thing in the morning, that way they will have all day to monitor me. I know im guna have no regrets doing this because iv wanted it for so long xx

You will be fine hun i was allowed home 4 hours after op and if i wanted to go before i just had to sign some paper work, but i just stayed till i was ready.
