Hi all, sorry I haven’t been on the forum for a few days since my BA. Just been recovering from a little cold and BA! I’ve found everyones BA stories amazing and very helpful, so I just wanted to share mine too!

    Stats:

    5ft4

Size 8 on top and 10pm bottom

Was a 32b prior to BA

    Weight roughly 8.9 stones

    Had 380cc implants

    By Mr Singh

I arrived at the Fitzroy Square Hospital at 07:20 for my admission at 07:30. Was met by a lovely nurse called Margret and was shown to my room which was lovely and warm! I was a little nervous, but just more excited and hungry than anything! I think my partner was more nervous than me, bless him! Margret orientated me around the room and went through a quick checklist, put on my name bands and did a set of observations (bp, pulse, temp), she checked my urine and gave me my sexy stockings to wear! She left me to get changed and said the anaesthetist and mr Singh should be in shortly.

While I was filling out my lunch menu, the lovely anaesthetist come to see me. He went through another checklist and said he’ll see me in theatre later! I thought I would be feeling nervous at stage, but I still felt fairly calm!

A different nurse came to see me, introduced herself as Maria, she was lovely and said she had taken over from Margret and will be looking after me today! She said that mr Singh has just gone to theatre with another lady and I should either 2nd or 3rd on the list! So I relaxed, watched a bit of tv and fell asleep, before I knew it mr Singh popped in and asked what size implants I had chosen ‘I said 380’s and he replied you chicken! Hahaha… He’s a funny man! He drew a few lines and and took some pictures and said the nurse will bring you to theatre shortly. So I got my partner to quickly take some pictures of my old boobs, so I can compare before and afters! And then the nurse came in! I gave my partner a kiss or 2 or 3 haha… Then off I went! Feeling very nervous now!! I went up the lifts to the anaesthetic room, was met by the anaesthetic assistant and the anaesthetist again, he sited my cannula and then gave me my med’s. ‘here’s your G&T’ that’s one syringe.’and here’s your ice and a slice’. Then soon after that I was fast asleep! The next thing I remember was someone calling me…. Jenny… Jenny… I woke up and they said we’re going back to your room now! I took a sneaky peak at my new boobs…. Wow…. And I think I fell asleep again. The next thing I remember is being back in my room and getting comfy in my bed with my partner beside me. I felt great, no pain, no sickness. So I asked him to pass my make-up and I started painting on my face! Hehe…. I hate not wearing make-up! This made me feel 100 times better!! The nurse was in and out my room checking my blood pressure and about 2 hours after the BA I had my lunch! Clear chicken soup, roast pork, roast potatoes, veg, and ice cream…. Yummy!! Had some pain relief and then went to toilet with the help of the nurse.

Another 2 hours from that and I was ready to go home, but before I went I met the lovely Emily (my boobie buddy) who was still waiting to have her BA! And then off I went home!

My 1st day at home was great (apart from my cold), I was moving around normally, doing most things for myself. But was trying to take it easy as advised! Everyone around me have been great! My boobs just felt achy, not painful.

Day 2, started to feel a little pain around my incision site on my right boob, felt like it was burning and making my right nipple hurt. Left boob feels fine! No pain at all on the left side!

Day 3 (today), feeling a lot better, my cold is going away. Still slight pain in my right boob, but not as bad as yesterday! The tape is making me itch like crazzzzzy!! So I had to take the tape off! My boobs feel so much more comfy without the tape, just wearing my high impact M&S sports bra that zips at the front! Oh and they have started farting today!! That was a weird experience!

Overall, I have had minimal pain and no sickness, I would definitely go through this again! I love my new boobies!! For everyone that is thinking about having a BA, the only thing I have regretted is not doing this sooner!! Mr Singh and MYA have been amazing!

I haven’t put up any photo’s yet, will do next week. Oh and does anyone know how to upload pics from blackberry to iPad?

    Sorry for the long story!
