Hi everyone, well ive finally felt well enough to post story on here!
I had my op on tuesday at the manchester lifestyle hospital, my admission time was 12 o’clock, me an my bf arrived a little bit early so we could find a parking space! When we got inside i had to fill a couple of forms in and then a man came and took us up to my room 110, the room was really nice!! we just watched tv for a while because a nurse didnt come to see me untill 2!! Id started gettin very panicky, but not long after Mr Alvi came to see me and drew on me with what i think was a black permanent marker lol, and check that i still wanted the 380cc implants!! The anethetist also came to see me, made sure i was ok with everythin. I had to change into a gown and sexy papers knickers lol.
At half 2 ish a nurse came to take me down to theatre, i was taken into a room where there was another nurse she was so lovely and calmed me down loads! I sat on the bed an she attached some pads to my back, i think they were for the heart monitor. I lay down on the bed an had to slip my gown down to my waist, i was covered up so i didnt feel exposed or anythin, the anethetist came in an put the canula into my hand( i was dreading that bit but it really didnt hurt at all! He said that he was just puttin in some pain killers and somethin to calm me down, i asked if i was meant to feel so woozy, he just laughed an that was the last thing i remember!
The next couple of hours were a bit of a blur, i woke up in my room but i was very sleepy! It was about 10 before i fully came round, i felt very groggy and sick and the pain was quite bad but i think alot of the pain was because ive got to wear a breast band and its got to be quite tight! Im glad i stayed overnight, because i needed quite alot of extra painkillers through the night, i have to say for me under the muscle has been quite painful! The drive home on wednesday was uncomfortable u notice so many more of the bumps lol.
Ive been in quite alot of pain last couple of days an moving around has been quite difficult, especially getting out of bed! My boobs looked so strange because the implants are so high up! Today has been a much better day, im not in as much pain and my arms are more mobile too! The implants have dropped slightly so they look more like boobs!! It is definately true that each day u get a little bit better!! Congratulations to sophia who also had them done the same day, i hope your feeling ok!
