My story! 15th june, Mr Adamo at Highgate

I’ve waited for so long to write my story

Okay my admission time was 12pm as I was an over night case. Hospital, the rooms & surrounding area are all really lovely & very clean! Everyone at Highgate is so friendly.

I was waiting about an hour in reception before being shown to my lovely room. Still felt calm & excited

The nurse asked me some general questions, took my BP, height & weight etc. She showed my the call bell & advised me to call if i needed anything.

Me & my mum settled in watching the tv and reading some magazines. About an hour later (2pm) the anaesthetist came in & asked me questions, looked at my airway & told me what would happen when I went down. She then said I could drink some water as I would be waiting for a couple more hours! (gutted!)

So another hour and a half past, and at about 3.30pm Mr Adamo came into see me. We had a chat, I signed some forms, he done his little artwork on me lol, and took some pictures. Told me to put my gown, paper knickers & socks on (sexy!!!) & said he would see me soon. I was now starting to feel a bit sick with nerves about the GA, but was still very excited!

At about 4.35pm the nurse came for me! Showed me to the anaesthetic room where everyone was waiting for me, including Adamo. All were sooo friendly!

They attached me to monitors, put cannula in my arm (which didn’t hurt one bit). Then Adamo came over & we were having a nice chat to distract me. He said you’re going to feel drunk now, I remember looking at the time & it was 4.45pm. Adamo waved at me & said see you soon! (Bless him!)

Then within what seemed like 5mins I was awake, still in the theatre & still with the silly intubation tube in my throat!!! Grrrr. I just remember someone saying ‘okay I’m going to take the tube out now’. Didn’t hurt though.

I was wheeled to recovery, looked at the clock & it was 5.45pm.

I remember saying to the nurses ‘Am I awake!? Did i really wake up okay!?’ lol. And I was shouting ‘I’ve got booooobs!!’ Haha cringe!! Then was talking utter rubbish to the nurse, poor lady!

I felt fine, no pain, no sickness, no dizziness, no tiredness, really felt fine!

I got taken back to my room at 6pm where the nurse done my obs every 15mins or so. I had some water & a biscuit. Kept that down so asked for my dinner (which was sooo nice!)

Then I looked down at my 340cc overs…..and thought oh no they look small!!!!

After a while I got up to go to the toilet & took gown off to have a look at them front on and I loved them! Perfect shape and size for me (didn’t want them too big) I do think they look a bit far apart though, but hoping that will change once they soften up! The nurse told me to call her when I wanted pain relief…..but I didn’t want to wait for the pain to come, so I just asked for some every 5hours. The nurses are very nice & happy to help.

Didn’t sleep well at all. Not cos of pain, just cos of having to stay in one position!! (sitting up & on my back)

Mr Adamo came & saw me about 9pm last night before he went home & had a look & a feel & said all was fine.

My breakfast came at about 7am, also was very nice!

Adamo came again at about 9.30am this morning & discharged me

Drive home was NOT commfortable at all! First time I’ve felt pain.

Anyway I’m home now & still no pain, just a tight feeling when I breath deeply.

Going to continue to take my pain relief every 5hrs for the next couple of days.

For all you pre op girls really do not worry about a thing! It really is a breeze, I actually enjoyed every minute of it! Good luck to you all

Bring on 6weeks so I can but new bras & bikins! Yay!

had 340 overs too. I looked thought they are not that big also lol, but now when I look I think wow!!!

I luv them

just want 6 weeks to fly by…(but i dont want to waste the summer)

Going on hol in aug so will finally!!!!!!!!! have boobies to put in a bikini

i was a 34a only had op mon so not measured yet

said i wanted a d cup as i wanted natural looking for my frame

but saying that they look big!!

I want to become a D/DD, as I too want to look natual. Do you think that I will achieve that size with my pre-op size being 30b/c with 340 overs?

i had mine yesterday as well, just before you and i am also very happy with the results, can’t believe i now have boobies but must say i don’t feel as good as you do, still feel a bit dizzy and i can feel some pain where the stiches are

i think i saw you yesterday in the waiting room ) are you blonde and slim?

well done sweetie – very similar to my story lol i had 340s too last week, and when i first looked down at them i thought they were small and then had a sleep for couple hours, then when i woke up and looked at them they looked big lol.

am really pleased with the size, hope you continue to heal well x x

I was a 34aa before my 340cc overs.

I still think mine look small tbh I’m just dreading being measured in 6 weeks and they say I’m a B cup….I think I will actually cry! lol.
