I thought I’d add my story and hopefully will help someone…it’s a long one so bare with me!
I had my first consultation about five weeks ago with Leah at Leeds and immediately felt comfortable and happy…she booked me in with Helena for a surgeon consultation for a BA and lipo. The day came for the consultation and when I saw Helena it wasn’t what I expected…she was a nice lady but didn’t seem interested in what I wanted but what she could do and offer. She said I needed an uplift and implants which really threw me as I wasn’t expecting to be told I needed at uplift…anyway she said the max she would offer was 415…I wasn’t told about profile or the option of responsives or soft touch…I said I would go away and think about it. I spoke to Leah and looked on the forum and did some research and the next day asked if I could come in and try the implants on again as I wasn’t sure that the 6.5k I would be spending would give the results I wanted. I went in and still wasn’t sure, Leah managed to get me a last minute surgeon appointment for Mr Traynor…well let’s just say…we didn’t gel…I’m sure he is an amazing surgeon but he was rude to say the least and I came away feeling more disheartened than ever. I spoke to my bf and with Leah and decided to book in with Helena and go for it. I booked for 17th May at Preston. I had my pre-op (twice as they didn’t send my bloods off quick enough) and then 5 days before my surgery I got a call from the Leeds clinc to say Helena had decided to go on maternity leave earlier and she had to re-arrange all her appointments and they’d moved it forward a day. I was gutted…it had been a miracle with a little baby and a business to run to get everyone to have time off and arrange cover and there was no way I could bring it forward a day. In the end Leah and the girls at Leeds gave me another alternative…Mr Singh in London on 18th. I thougth about it and although it would be difficult it was possible. So on Thursday 17th I travelled to London and met with Mr. Singh for the first time. OMG what a difference to the other surgeons…he was thorough, polite, professional and compassionate…he was the only one to check my breast for lumps and measure them properly…he drew me pictures and went through the surgery in detail. He listened to what I wanted to achieve and we decided to go for bigger implants and no lift and it’s the best decision ever!
I went to the Fitzroy on Friday 18th (next day) and was looked after wonderfully…the staff were amazing, the facilities were great and the food was good. The op went without a hitch and had virtually no pain…just a bit of tightness. Unfortunately on the Saturday I got gastroenteritis from my little girl which has slowed my recovery down but apart from that I feel good and the boobs (from what I can see) look amazing and not too big. I think I would have been upset if I’d gone smaller with an uplift.
My advice to anyone going to have surgery is make sure you are comfortable with your PC and your surgeon. Leah at Leeds has been amazing and none of this would have happened without her support before during and now afterwards…in fact I would have cancelled my procedure when they tried to re-arrange if she hadn’t of pulled out all the stops to get this done.
I want to say thank you as well to all the girls that let me nosey at their pictures and listen to their stories…you are the best

Awww fab story sounds like ur PC is a total star
hope your healing well hun and over the GE musta been horrible!
I think that’s the best advice for everyone you have to be really really happy with your surgeon and trust them, Ben Chew was mine this morning and at my consultation he done drawings etc too which really makes you understand. He was lovely and cheery this morning calming me down and has been in at lunch time telling me he’ll come back on his way home tonight – how reassuring.
