Aahhhh congrats sounds like evrything went well!!time soon flies and they’ll feel like normal, I’m nearly 3 weeks post op nw and only remember I have them when I try lie on my side to sleep and there are two big boobs where I used to rest my arm haha!!and yeh mine were strapped like urs they feel very under ur arms but that goes after about 2 weeks!!hope recovery goes well xxx

oh my lord thats guna be fun good luck and i fort that i was guna have a hard time with jst th 1 lol..aww i can imagin me sleepin on th sofa bcoz i cant sleep on my back i tried last night it was bloody awful lol.. how long have u got to keep ur tape on for? i hope mines only on for a week xxx

Hi girls

I had my BA on 7 Jan at 6.30pm, i arrived at parkhill hospital in doncaster at 4.30 and was shown to my room (15) a nurse came and took blood pressure etc then asked me to get ready in gown stockings and sexy paper knickers lol, anethisist came to see me at about 5.30 and asked a few qs and said i would be 2nd and id prob have a wait of around 2 hours, once he went i lay on ther bed and read a mag and thought id have some time to chill- wrong 6pm and the surgeon came and marked me up and said ok lets go, at that point i felt soooooo nervous and wanted to run in the other direction haha, went upstairs to theatre and once there everything went rlly quick, i reackon it took about 5 mins to sort me out with heart monitors and canular and then knock me out which was good cos it didnt give me time to get nervous.

Woke up in recovery and remember shaking like crazy and being in a lot of pain, was given something in my iv then went back to sleep, woke up in room at about 8.30 as nurse was taking blood pressure etc, they do that every 15 mins for the first 2 hours, my blood pressure had fell from 130 to 78 which the nurse said was dangerous so i had to be put on a drip (which brought it back up by the morning), slept most of the evening until 2 in the morning then i braved a feel lol, could only move my arm to the middle of my chest and couldnt feel anythin i was like oh my god ive chose the wrong size lol.

After that i tried to move my arm every time i woke up and eventually i was able to feel down the side where i found these gigantic melons next to me armpits lol, mr kazzazi always tapes you up like that apparently so you end up with a better result (has anyone else been taped the same way?).

By the morning i felt much better was still in a lot of pain kept tryin to get out of bed but took me three attempts and once i was up and about and stretched my arms it wasnt quite as painful.

Got picked up at 12pm and had a 2 hour journey back to newcastle, nurse from mya rang me just before i left parkhill and said that i would probably be rlly sore in the morning.

Well its the morning now and i had all me painkillers at the ready and thankfully im not in too much pain which is brilliant, so hopefully the worst of it is over.

Hi joanne…glad everything went well for u……got mine next sunday..and mya said they can arrange transprt back for me but am just wondering if u had transprt there aswel? Only I’m having dificulty sorting it as the trains where I live are all messed up due to the weather xx

yeah still a bit sore and stiff but not as bad as i thought, really pleased with recovery so far x x x x good luck with yours x x

Hey Joanne, congrats on your op!! Wow only 2 days ago you had your BA! So you’re still feeling pretty stiff and sore hey? I’ve read a few post ops on here and most say that the soreness goes after around 3-7 days…so not long for you now before you’re able to do the things you did before. I’m still in the process of arranging my first consultation! Hoping to get BA beginning of June! Hope you have a quick recovery xxx

nah i never got told to take them, im rlly surprised that im not in too much pain, im lyin in bed like not moving much, when im up and about im pretty stiff and sore but i was expecting really bad pain after reading stuff on here but i suppose everyone is different, when u having yours done? r u going on yr own? ah bet yr dead excited i know i was,xxxxxx

im goin thrw mya aswell.. i hope hes a chatty little man coz when im nervis i never shut up lo..

awww bless him least hes helpin u out.. my little boys goin 2 my grandmas thn his dads guna take him out for a few days so thats not so bad hes only 20months so kinda still dont understand whats goin on =]

lol its ok chic, i was a 32a size 6/8 5ft 7stone and ive had 380cc unders with kazzazi he said this should take me to a large c small d but ive a feeling they are gonna be a little bigger, i had transport through mya and it only took 2 hours even in the bad weather (the driver i had was called michael he was a lovely little old fella) was a nice 7 series BMW lol, im feeling much better today got me hubby running around after is bless him hes looking after our 4 kiddies too (hes gonna need a good drink by the end of the week lol), r u arranging yr own transport or going with mya? xxxxxxxx

awww bless yah hun.. im totally crappin coz im prown for havin high blood preasure so i hope mine dont go too high.. did it only take 2 hours? im from newcastle and goin 2 doncaster i hate travelin aswell..
are you ok now feelin abit better?
