My Story – 21/08/12… 410 overs… Mr.Traynor…Highfield BMI

Hi girls Day 2 post op and feeling ok so thought I’d write up my story! (still cant believe im actually writing this )

So my admission time was 11.30 at Highfield Rochdale. I live in Sunderland so we set off about 7 to get the first train from Newcastle. Got to Leeds waiting for train number two and got a bit confused…asked the train dude if we were in the right place and he said you’re on the wrong platform!!! We had 2 minutes before our train left haha ive never ran so fast in my life!!

Got to Highfield 11.15…it was literally 2 mins from the station (cost like 2.60!). Filled a form in then was shown to my room. A lady came to take my food order for after the op…i ordered soup but she gave me a disapproving look so i added a cheese sandwich as well haha. Next to come in was the nurse with more form filling and she gave me my paper knicks and sexy socks ha!

About 12 oclock Mr.Traynor came in. Checked what size i had decided on and signed another form then he did his doodling on me and said i’d be first after lunch about half 1 2oclock.

Next was the aneasthetist and then at 2.05 the nurse came to tell me she was taking me away!! 😯 I was shaking like leaf in anaesthetics but the people in the room were so lovely and put me at ease, then it felt a bit like the walls were closing in on me and i was out!

Next thing i remember was crying my eyes out and saying to whoever was there that I wasnt sad i promise haha! Shuffled onto my bed crying again and went to sleep. I next woke up when a nurse came in and she asked what i thought of my new boobs.Id completely forgot about them, i hadnt even looked!! I looked down and was like OMG humps!!

After that i just chilled out really, ate my soup but not the sarnie, had some codeine as i was a bit sore but felt ok. When i went to the loo i had a sudden wave of nausea but it passed after sitting on the bathroom floor for 5 mins. About half 7 Mr.Traynor popped in to see how i was doing and that was it.

All the staff at Highfield were so lovely, i couldnt fault them. One nurse even spent half an hour 9 oclock at night looking for some Earl Grey tea for me bless her!! I left about 9 oclock the next morning after seeing Mr Traynor again (thanked him for my fabulous boobs then cried again haha!) The lovely Martin from MYA picked us up and brought me all the way home to my door.

For those going to Highfield with someone….my mam had a lovely meal in the restaurant while i was in theatre and they also brought her a sandwich later in the day when i was having my soup, the staff were really accomodating. Mam stayed in the Best Western hotel which was just up the road from the hospital and she said it was lovely and would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience…so pleased I have finally done it. There really is no way to describe how good it feels to see and feel ur new boobs and feel all womanly and sexy. Its cheesy i know but its true…i love them, and will be grateful to Mr Traynor and MYA forever

Healings ok Blaire1991. mornings r most sore but eases off once I’m up and about. Been to town shopping today so a bit tired now. So far tho I’m pleased with how well I’ve felt
