Hi Ladies, thought I would share my story with all you lovelies. Right 21st of Aug I set off to Highgate with my mum, my admission time was 11am but we arrived at 10.30am, got to reception and booked in filled out a few forms then was shown 2 my room. In my room just sat there chatting to my mum and then the nurse came in to do blood pressure, etc and then got changed into the sexy gown, socks and pants. At around 11.15am Dr F came into the room and we discussed sizes. He wanted me to have 310cc but I had ordered 340cc and 380cc to be there as I was still unsure. Basically Dr F said I can ditch the idea of 380 as I just dnt have enough breast tissue and my frame is to small so I settled with the 340cc unders. He told me I should be in theatre within 30 mins so nerves started kicking in. 20 mins later he came to room and said we have some bad news, at this point my heart sank and I thought WHY ME!! He explained my pa had sent the wrong type of implant to the hospital but he could still go ahead with the op if I wanted. He was very apologetic on her behalf and said this is very rare to happen. The only difference between the implants was that one was more firmer and the other abit more moveable. I was so confused, but after a long chat with him we decided to go ahead. He went, came bk a min later and said 2 minutes and your down. So still very nervous and confused the nurse came to collect me and I kissed my mum goodbye. We went down in the lift and she told me I was one of the lucky ones as most girls that day had been sent home as the wrong implant sizes had been sent, then I met the anetheatist, (cnt spell that word) he put the tap in my hand and then the ga. It felt like 2 seconds later I was awake in my room with my mum and lots of ice on my chest. The 1st thing that come out of my mouth was food. I was starving, still no pain at this point. I had some toast, yoghurt and ice cream and then just rested for a while. It was now 2.30pm. Around 3pm Dr F came in and said they are lovely and showed me my new twins. They looked very sore and had a bandage across the top. We then shook his hand, think he is a truley amazing surgeon and thanked him for just being great. I was discharged at 6pm. The drive home was horrid, could feel every bump. To be honest im day 8 now and I feel so much better, 1st 4 days are defo the worst, not so much pain but annoyance. By day 6 I was out shopping and last nite managed to go to a friends bday party. Still getting out of breath easy and the stitches are itchy. Also they are very tight and high up atm., they are almost pear shaped but they are changing every day. I started off a

Small 34b and now wearing a 34d sportsbra. Hopefully they will get bigger as they are unders. Any questions guys I would be happy to help. No photos yet as my laptop is on the blink but will let you beauts know wen you can see my puppies. X
