My story – 22nd Dec – Dr Singh – Highgate

Good morning ladies

Well while I’m up suffering from a numb bum I thought I’d take the opportunity to tell u my story from yesterday…..

Well my admission time was 11am and I got there at about 10.45am. I got my paperwork in reception and waited to be shown to my room. At about 11.20 I was shown to my room (317) and made myself comfy.

My fella wanted to order some tea/coffee and food but I told him to sod off as it wasn’t fair on me lol… I was soooo hungry and thirsty!!!

Anyhow, shortly after the nurse came to see me and took my blood pressure, height and weight and took my leg measurement for my sexy theatre socks!

On went the paper knickers (gorgeous!) socks and gown!

Was told the anaethatist and surgeon would be down to see me shortly… Blimey ok!!!

Dr Singh came down to see me and was in a lovely bubbly mood and we had a giggle which was good. I asked him my last few q’s and he said he’d see me in about an hour in theatre!!! Omg, this was now real!!!

Aneathatist was down shortly after and again we had a giggle; he asked if I was left/right handed and if I’d had GA before.

Anyway, an hour would have taken me to 1.15.

At about 1.40 they came to get me and I could feel the emotions kicking in.

I came my fella one big hug and kiss and then had a little tear!!

Down into the operating theatre u went, climbed on the bed and had that one last panicking thought….”why am I doing this; do I really need it?”

Ah well….. Then it was “night night” and I was gone…..

About 35 mins later I was waking up in recovery!!! It was done and I had boobies!!!!

I remember crying for some unknown reason and the lovely nurse was telling me not to cry as I had boobies!!!

The pain was a little intense (especially because I was told I should feel anything) and I started to shake with cold!

After about 20 mins or so I was wheeled up to my room and was met by my gorgeous fella! after a big kiss and another tear I was ok.

I felt really drowsy so just kept going to sleep! I’ve had GA before but did feel a little worse after this one… Not sure why, maybe they put me into a deeper sleep???

I then managed some water and toast (yum yum!) and after another hour I managed a nice big 3 course dinner!!!

I had to call for the nurse to have my first loo stop and I was a bit light headed but all was fine

I was then discharged.

Popped next door to see my boob buddy from on here (hi Carla!!) and we had a little natter and peak!! Lol

Blimey this goes on a bit doesn’t it… Sorry!!!

Anyway at about 8.30 we left highgate and came bk to the hotel.

I continued to dose on the bed bug later ate a packet of crisps as I wanted to take some pain killers. Not just because I was in pain, but cause I thought it would help me sleep. And it really did!!

I was awake at about 4am this morning with a numb arse but my boobs are not in so much pain!

Overall, I can’t say I was one of the lucky ladies that didn’t suffer pain because I did… More than I expected…. But when I look down to see my new knockers I can’t help but smile!!!!!

For those that are going in today, I want to wish you luck… And look forward to hearing your story. I hope this story helps you in one way or another…. Be prepared for a numb bum though, that’s all I can say lol

I did it ladies, that’s my story and I am now in the boobi club!!!!! Yay!!!!

Hya Cheryl glad it went ok for u my bum is absolutely killin me 2! Can’t sleep properly an wen I sit up My boobies kill lol! I’m happy with my boobs by they only seem about a C which I’m dissapointed with! I was 34b to start an had 380overs, any chance they will get bigger?? Xx

Ah I should have popped my head in and said hello!! Are u on pain today!? I am a bit…. Very sensitive nipples more than anything!!!

Nat, I had 410 from 34a so we must b bout same size now? They r not as big as I thought but I am really pleased so far.

I’m not sure if overs get bigger babe…. Time is a healer…. Fingers crossed xxx

It hurts a bit but im moving around fine. Mum keeps telling me to relax n stop getting up but I feel lazy asking for everything lol

I reckon I could go back to work right now … Im very surprised.

Also only taking 1 out of 2 painkillers im meant to have.

I cant feel anything on my nipples at the moment. I hint for that, get some cotton (make up) pads & put them ontop of your nipples inside your sports bra

hi there. Thats for sharing your experience. I am due to get my op on 30th in Glasgow. Had a BA.9 years ago and they had deflated so fot they needed replaced but cant remember what happened the last time.

Hope u heal quickly and you are happy with results xx

Morning Ladies

Well I am feeling much better today…. all I have done since my op on Wednesday is sleep!!! LOL

The tape is pulling (and i think it is that which is causing me the pain). I can feel some bruising around my ribs to the sides but i guess that is normal.

High profile implants are the ones that are more projected. Because I was pretty flat before (VERY!! lol) I wanted them to be a bit projected when looking at them from the side. Low profile, are obviously less projected and I believe can look as though they ‘sagged’ quicker as there isnt that projection there. But I could be wrong; Im no specialist

What does everyone think to the pictures on my profile? I have only added one before and one after pic; be good to have some feedback.

Hope I feel even better tomorrow… time is a healer and all that

Oh and I was a 34a before, hoping to be a 34D/DD once they have settled. xxx

Glad your feeling better today. I am too

I felt pretty rough last night. I had to put frozen sweetcorn on them to try soothe them! The strapping is hurting me, esp underneath by my ribs.

Yeah thats where mine hurts too. Did Dr Singh tell you to keep your sports bra on all the time? He never told me so I slept with it off last night. Had an amazing nights sleep… in fact I woke up this morning, flat on my back and half way down the bed! lol

Hurt when I then sat upright as the pressure was back on the incisions but make me have a little chuckle. I was obviously out for the count and didnt care!! lol

The nurse said its up to me the first week if it feels more comfortable or not.

Iv been wearing it if iv been moving about but leave it off at night time

I only woke up once last night which is good for me any night.
