My story 23.05.12 Dr Adamo uplift with 410cc implants

Arrived at highgate hospital at about 12.20 with my two best friends ( we were having a boobie day out in london haha. My admission time was 12.30, upon arrival i had to fill in some forms. we waiting in the reception area for a while then got moved to sit in the garden area in the sun at 10 past 1 as the room still wasn’t ready for me yet.

Got shown to my room at 1.40 (210) then about 20 mins later the nurse came in to do my hight weight blood pressure and pregnancy test. And measured me for my socks.

At half 3 the surgeon and anethitist came in to see me. I got drawn on and told it would be about an hour wait. I was last on the list and the 7th patient for dr Adamo today. Went down at about 5. I walked into a little room and was asked some questions then got moved into the room next door which was the surgery room and got asked to lay down on the bed the staff started to ask me questions which scared me coz i knew they would be putting the canula thing in (it wasn’t too bad) then I felt my arm get really numb which worried me a bit so I found if hard to breath so i started to cry a bit (how embarrassing) so then gave me the gas and I was gone !

Woke up about 8 in the recovery room had a look at my boobs and started crying with happiness then was shortly moved back to my room where my friends were waiting for me. I remember having a very very itchy nose !!??? And was still very emotional.

My friends went home at about 9 and then I had dinner. During this time I met the night nurse, Nadia who would be looking after me and she was lovely ! She even sat with me to read magazines for a little while and kept saying I was her baby (as I’m only 18 I assumed I was the youngest patient on the ward)

At about 10.15 the nurse came in and I told her my left arm was very sore and then when she pulled my gown down to have a look my left boob it was huge !

So then the doctor came in and said it was some kind of internal bleeding so they put a big bag of ice on it to shrink the bloos vessle and stop the bleeding. The doctor left and said he would be back in an hour to see how i was and if the ice didnt help I would be going back down to theatre in the morning to drain it, very scary stuff!.

During the hour my other boob did it slightly too so had an ice pack sat on booth boobs! By this point I also got told I wasn’t aloud to eat or drink anything if I did have to go back down to theatre in the morning. But i got put on a drip as i felt very thirsty.

I went to sleep that night with a leg massager thing on both my legs it felt a bit like when you have your heart rate taken but on my legs! And 2 big bags on ice on my boobs! The Bags of ice would leak ice cold water over my gown and wake me up! This happened about 5 times but all the night staff were very helpful and lovely. I was asked how I was finding the pain and it was a little tight so they said I could get an injection (barring in mind I hate injections but couldn’t drink water to swallow tablets!) so she came back with a syringe of liquid morphine !

Walked to the toilet for the first time at about 5 in the morning which felt a little strange.

In the morning a different nurse came in to take out my canular and leg things off. Shortly after dr Adamo came in and had a look at the swelling and decided he wouldn’t need to drain them ! Thank god I was really worried about being put to sleep again. He did say they will take about 4-5 weeks for them to settle

Then i had my breakfast and waited for my dad to come and get me and drive home.

Thats fine girls i’ll accept now. i forgot to say that i was a 32e before .. no idea what size i will be post op, i wear dress size 10-12 xx
