*MY STORY * 25TH OCTOBER * MR RUSSO * FIRST TRUST*

Hello ladies, just thought i would share my story. Woke up at 6am (starving), had a quick shower and got the kids ready, put us all in the car at 6.45 then my hubby dropped me off for 7.30. A very friendly nurse showed me to my room then came back a short while later with my sexy stockings and raunchy paper knickers, she weighed me then she asked me some questions then told me Mr Russo was running late but i was 3rd on the list. I mentioned i felt naked without my tan, nails, make up etc and she said i could have kept them on. She said she just needed 1 finger free of false nails and you might have a couple of white patches on your tan from the sticky tape (wish i’d known) The anaesthetist came and introduced himself and asked me some questions, the doctor came and introduced himself and asked some questions and the lady who was incharge of the waking me after the anaesthetic came and introduced herself. Mr Russo came to see me at 10ish, he took some pics, drew on me and told me he would see me in theatre in approx 45mins, he was very nice and put me at ease. At approx 11 another nice theatre nurse came to take me into theatre, he put the cannula into my hand (after several attempts to find a vein and using both hands, ha) and then the anaethetist put some liquid into the tube, i felt a bit drunk them BAM!!!! the next thing i remember is being in my room again. Mr Russo came to see me and told me not to wear the breast band i was sent and to just wear my sports bra, i asked why and he said ‘a different technique’, he was lovely again, he squeezed my boobs a bit then left and said i’ll see you in a month.

I had a few hours rest then nurse asked me if i wanted to stay or go home, i told her i was a daycase and she said that doesn’t matter if you want to stay you can (free of charge). I felt great so i said i’d go, i was sick a little but that made me feel even better. She took out my drains and helped me into my bra. My husband came back to pick me up and we left at about 6.30pm. I was offered plenty of food and drink after the op but just asked for jam on toast (twice because it was sooo nice).

Great day, my boobs look AMAZING at the moment and i’m really happy with the service i have recieved. If anyone is worried DON’T BE, it’s actually quite fun!! xx

Congratulations Lisa. It’s a shame wedding get to meet. I am in room 7. I stayed over night the GA didn’t agree with me. Feeling a little better now so will be posting my story when I get home. But I do have to say I LOVE my new puppies. The most amazing feeling!!! Xxx

Hi Laura, glad your liking your new additions, boo about the GA but at least they were nice in saying we could stay overnight if we wanted. Mine have gone really swollen this morning and are starting to hurt but def worth it. Tell whoever drives you home to go slowly on the road oyt of the hospital and a pillow inbetween you and the seatbelt is a must xx

Just had mine done with russo this morning don’t know why I’ve been scared all along it was quite a doddle everyone puts u at ease got no pain etc hope use have quick healing process n upload some pics of the new addition when healed and relaxed xxx
