My story 340 overs yesterday!!!

so happy i can finally wirte my story!

So i arrived at manchester lifestyle hopsital yesterday around 12, reception and porter were lovely, got shown to my room and waited about an hour to be drawn on by surgen and bits and bobs done by the nurse.

I was taken down about half 2 absolutly petrified wen I lay on the bed i couldnt stop trembling becasue I’d never had anesthetic before and was terrified lol! the nurse and the anethatist were so lovely and reasuring. he offered me gas instead since i was scared of the needle but after smelling it i was like Yuck no chance!! so went with the needle, i needent be so scared as it didnt hurt one bit!!!

anyway next they said they were giving me a ‘chill out’ drug to relax me and would let me know when i was getting the ga, i felt sooo sleepy and the last thing i remember was them asking me what i did for a living,

next thing i Knew i was awake in recovery, no pain whatsoever just really sleepy and drousy

the next part was the worst becasue I had really low blood presure and they had to check on me every 15 mins, they put me on a drip and kept changing it which was so painfull, I couldnt eat a thing becasue i felt soo sick and dizzy but no pains from the op though, Eventually they let me go about half 9 at night so was a very loooong day.

To all girls worried about the needle, anesthetic or pain dont becasue it was a breeze!!, I am sore this morning but just feel like I have done too many chest presses in the gym and a bit tender but no pain.

at the mo boobs look like there stuck on but im sure they will drop when the swelling goes down, I was a 32B and had 340cc overs hopefully be a D/DD

mine aint till October. but i am sooo scared of being put to sleep, the procedure and the needle dont scare me, just the being put to sleep that scares me.

whats this calming drug they give you?

Nadine Hope you survived the day hun! I hope mine would be as good as yours pain wise, although child birth would teach me… I hated the feeling of sore breast during the time of full milk!!

I had doctor treynor – he was lovely, and the calming drug was a lie i think coz they knew i was scared, i think they tell u its a calming drug so you relax and dont realise ur falling asleep, if i knew it was anethetic id have probably paniked and tried to get up and all kinds till it knocked me out lol!! i was terrifed of goin to sleep but it really isnt that bad at all.

if u have given birth this will be a breeze for you!, im in a bit of pain now but only when i move and feel quite heavy not used to these things yet lol good luck girls, will soon be your turns xxx

We were there at the same time yesterday! i too was more scared of the anesthetic, but it was totally painless, and the last thing i remember is them asking what i do too! must be there regular question, i got 340 unders, 34A to hopefully 34C. Stayed over night and got home about half 12 today. Feel quite sore today and achey but got all my drugs to keep me going.

Mine look a bit funny at the minute but looking forward to next week when my dressings are off. Well done, hopefully it’ll change your life just as much as i know its going to change mine xxx

Hey Caitlin18 … I had 260 unders 3 wks ago and am wearing c sports and d normal bra’s …. I’m thinking in the back of my head should I of opted for the first ones(340s)I wanted?? opted for smaller in the end as I didnt want to be huge on top. Keep me updated on your progress x x

Hey Caitlin, you were next door to me! i remember my mum saying a girl called caitlin has just gone down so your next ha ha!

Mine seem to be getting bigger and more sore everyday!

To ladies who havent had theirs its not unbarable just simple things like pushing the toaster down or lifting the kettle are sore! lol just means i get waited on ha ha!

keep me updated on how your all getting on, I cant wait to buy new underwear and clothes!!!!! gonna give me a lot more confidence I’m sure you guys will feel the same xx

Ceri82 i was afraid if i went smaller i wouldnt feel like they would be big enough but the fact your wearing C/d bras makes me feel better i dont want to be huge either, but im finding it hard to judge whats big and whats not cos im just so used to having nothing!

And Nadine ive never been more scared then when i went into that lift down to theatre but the whole experience was so smooth and so much easier than i expected. Your right about it being sore, im loving just getting given everything. Im a bit wary as im not allowed to even wear a sports bra for 6 weeks but ill live. I cant wait to go shopping now! xx

hi nadine, did you stay over the night, or go home the same evening? because i went for my consultation yesterday and they said you can go home the same evening but i didnt know if id feel up to going home or not? im thinking of going from a b to DD as well so have to let me know what you think once theyve settled down! xx

me neither!! just need to save up for a major trafford centre invasion ha ha!

omgitsarah- I went home, but for the amount of time i was there i may as well stayed over! I didnt get let out till nearly 10pm because of my blood presure and even then had to pretend i was feeling fine and had eaten lol i shall let you know how big they are as soon as they have settled xx

I am also a 32b and i want to be a d or dd. i was offered 300,340,380 but confused on which size togo fr I hve got another consul with my surgeon to decide on the size. i went looking at bra’s today and ranged between a dd to an F but in most shops im an E that was with 340’s i think with 380’s you end up more of an F cup xx

Iv booked in for 20.10.10 with Mr T at Manch for 340 Overs – im currently a 36/38C – am hoping for a nice full 36-38DD xxx
