Ever since I stared developing my buds I’ve dreamt of having boobs, unfortunately they never developed to much more than buds! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be going through this and never did I think there were so many girls out there in exactly the same boat!
On our annual skiing hol in France sitting having dinner boobs were mentioned and boob jobs came up!! Not our usual conversation over dinner I must add! To my surprise my husband said if you want it go for it, well there was no stopping me when I got back to Scotland, the search was on lol.
26th March my initial consultation with MYA in Glasgow, lots of questions answered and I was made to feel at ease and quite special. They weren’t the only boob people I went to see that day in Glasgow and not the cheapest. I’ll not mention any names but the next lot I went to see I felt like I was getting herded through a cattle market! The choise was made, Mya it was.
A few weeks later I met the nurse and Andrew Hart and again I was made to feel at ease. I told Andrew what I wanted, not too big as I do a lot of running and we decided on 315 and 345 (wonky boobs!). Then the forum was found and I got serious boob greed. I contacted my pc, had a discussion and she said that there was room for going bigger, another decision to make, 315/345 or 345/375 ARGH!!!! I decided to make that decision on the day when I saw Andrew again since he was the specialist.
Well, that day almost never came, the night before I was having serious doubts as to whether I was doing the right thing. I rarely take any form of tablet as it’s a foriegn thing going into my body yet I was preparing for two great lumps of jelly going into my boobs!! I’d been crying for most of the evening and nothing my husband could say would ease my nerves but I finally got my bag packed and I was ready for the next morning.
8am kids sent off to breakfast club and my husband and I head off to Glasgow. 10.45 arrive at Ross Hall hospital and 10 mins later I’m in my room. The nurse checks me in and lets me know that I’ll be taken to theatre around 1. 12.20 Andrew arrives to do his artwork and talk to me and yes even feeling sick with nerves the greed took over my head and the decision to go bigger was made! 10 mins later the anaesthatist arrives and does his bit, then 1 o’clock the trolly arrives and I’m off. Hubby comes down the lift with us gives me a final kiss and squeeze of the little boobies lol and was sent off to get a v pillow.
The anaesthetic was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, I couldn’t stop giggling as I was taken in a woosh of to dream land. What seemed like seconds I was being woken up by the recovery nurse and I had what can only be described as verbal diarrhea as I wouldn’t shut up lol! I was pumped full of morphine as I was complaining of being sore, got back to my room, said hello to my hubby, had a peek at the puppies and fell asleep for about two hours! The nurses kept comimg in to do my BP and stuff but I was totally out of it.
When I woke my right boob didn’t feel quite right as it had swollen quite a bit, Andrew was called and had a look, I was fasted again (thank god I’d managed to get my coffe and toast prior to Andrew comimg back) and Andrew said he’d be back in a couple of hours to check me out. Time for more sleep.
By the time Andrew came back things had settled and I was allowed to go but to contact the hospital in the morning if there was any doubt whatsoever. Well, apart from feeling like I’ve got two cannon balls stuck to my chest, I’m feeling quite comfortable. I’ll hopefully get round to posting a few pics up later tonight. Thanks to all on this forum for making the ride easier XX
