I had my 2nd child in December, and after having fab 32D boobs while pregnant, I lost my weight very fast and had very deflated 32b boobs left. I am a small size 6-8, 7st 12 and 5ft 3! I started seriously thinking of a breast enlargement in January and decided that I was definately going to get it done while I was on maternity leave! I have a heavy job and wouldnt be able to take 3 weeks off when I get back to work in September! So I started my research and looked a Mya, transform and Vive, I went for my consultation in mid January with MYA and met Julie, the MYA newcastle manager. I didnt feel any pressure to book anything and it was a very relaxed discussion and any questions could be asked. I then booked to see Mario and I liked him straight away, I researched him on line and found he had a great reputation and has been on TV a few times (embaressing bodies, TOWIE), I had another consultation with Julie and I was offered 310,340,380 breast implants to take me to a full D, I requested a natural-fakish look (is there such a thing?) I then decided to book my surgery with late space and my op date was booked for less than 2 weeks time…eeeeeek! I did get a fab discount though for going at short notice and filling an empty theatre slot! I was lucky that my partner was off work as he had been made redundant and could look after our little girl!I had my pre-op assesment the week later, and had some bloods, swabs and photo’s took. I then started looking at pictures online and decided I wanted bigger than 380’s…I spoke to Julie who asked me to see her again! This was 2 days before my surgery and I tried the implants again with a bra and my clothes…I defo wanted the 410’s! Unfortunately my implants had been ordered and sent to preston….luckily there was a spare pair there for that day and it wouldnt be a problem! The day of my surgery, I was picked up by my driver in a mercedes at 4.45am and took to Preston first trust private hospital, I was shown to my private room and a nurse came and sorted my paper work and mario came in an drew all over me with pen and said he would try and get the 410 implants in and I would be having ‘overs’. I was then took to theatre and given my anasthetic at 9.18am…the next thing I know its nearly lunch time and I wake up in my room and look at my new boobs!I have drains in and these get removed the next morning. I take loads of pictures and send a very garbled message to my partner….I was still very confused from the anasthetic and ring all my friends to tell them about my new boobs haha! I recovered during the day and my pain wasnt too bad, just stinging a bit and very uncomfortable as though I’d been doing a big gym session! It was really hard to reach for things! I was helped into my bra after lunch and told I didnt need a breast band…woooop! I’d been dreading it! I stayed over night and the nurses were fab….bringing me lots of cups of coffee, painkillers and food! in the morning I had a chat with Mario and he said I’d probably only need my bra for 4 weeks, I had my appointment with the MYA nurse at Newcastle for 8 days after for my stitches out. I was picked up at 9.30am and driven back to Newcastle. I havent been able to reach above my head or lift anything heavy all week, and need to wear my bra 24/7. I did have some intense itching at around day 3, but I havent took any painkillers for 2 days now. I do get pain when I first sit up on a morning, an intense stinging, but it stops fast! I am over the moon, and my ‘I’m not a boob man’ partner cant stop touching them1 I feel so much sexier and have much more confidence! they are a little swollen, and I’m not sure when I can go to get measured for some pretty bra’s? But I’m sure I’ll spend a small fortune replacing all my bra’s! thats my story so far, I dont think I’ve missed anything out….any questions just ask! xx
