My Story – 5 Hours Post Op – Dr Chantarasak

Hi Everyone, I am officially in the boobie club!!!

Just some details – I am 5ft 6′, 9st 2lb, originally an empty B cup. I only live in west london so thought since my admission time is at 1 pm i’d get the tube.. well on the tube .. 12:15 pm and I am totally wigging.. I am going to miss my admin time – jump off the tube to get a cab only to get stuck on the north circular – well got to Highgate with about 5 mins to spare for my admission time..

The receptionist was very welcoming and lovely and I immediately felt at ease – I was even allowed to have a little sip of water because I was so worked up by the journey. I filled in my contact form and then within 15 minutes was shown my room.. which is great as it is right at the back which opens to the garden, I was going for a wonder when the nurse came and said they want you right away so we have to be quick.. I was like OMG OMG it is really happening.. Nurse game me my gown, standard issue paper knickers 😆 and compression tights.. and started my medical history verification.. just before she is finished in come Dr C – he is all smiley and chatting (this has put me in shock – we all know he is not a man of many words) – anyway he ask me if I was still happy to go with 300 cc overs – I said I am happy with the 300cc but not sure about overs, he reassured me that he thought overs would work for me.. so i was ok.. he marked me up and told me to inform the anesthetist of my low blood pressure condition and then got me to sign the consent form then he was like – ok see you in a few minutes..

The anesthetist came and checked my medical history , asked if I had alergies etc and then he left… the nurse came and said ..are you ready .. we going down to the theatre because they are ready for you..

Went into the anesthetist section to be put to sleep – the nurses were really nice and we were all talking about the weather and how we were stuck inside and it was so nice out – I mean 23 degrees in London (shocking) – anyway .. the anesthetist came and did his bit chatting away the whole time – so i was really really relax – then i was driffting off to the nurse saying deep breaths – think of somewhere nice.. (oh i looked at the clock and its was 14:07 – so I from admission to theatre was an hour..

Then in what seem like 10 minutes – I was awake and the nurse was asking me – how do you feel.. I am going to take your blood pressure.. all i wanted to do was look at my boobs – so i started to try to look under the gown – the nurse was like hold on – let me take your blood pressure then you can look .. I thought wow they look great – did not even say thank God I made it through the op – all I was focused on was what they looked like 😳 – they look great i thought – not too big – so i settled down – the nurse took my pressure and Dr c came and told me everything went well and that they came out great – ask me if I was in pain – i said no – he said ok the nurse will take care of you now – he told the nurse the bandage comes off tomorrow and then they wheeled me to the room..

i was asked if i wanted tea and toast and said yes right away because i was starving – but also thirsty – the nurse said to have my water first then she would get the toast – I drank the water and fell back asleep – haha.. got up had my toast..

my phone hasnt stopped buzzing and so i havent done much else but text and bbm.. my bandage has slipped off because i wont keep still and i keep getting up and doing stuff.. getting things out my case etc.. so they have taken the bandage off and put me in my bra because it wont stay up..

Oh my dinner was yum – soup starter, cod, mash and veg mains – and green and blacks ice cream dessert..

i am in no pain whatsoever – my left nipple was burning when i came up initially but has stopped (occassionally twinges) – only thing i can really feel is a slight burn of the incisions (very slight) – my boobs arent hard – just very springy and taut – kinda like a pilates ball blown up – or a kids foot ball – so yes i am happy – i think they look great.. i keep going to have a look at my self in the mirror… dr C was really professional and he was very nice today – think he did a fantastic job and so far I am one happy lady – nurse also said i dont look like i had a op at all today… i am so “perky” haha.. think that is the drugs.. ok.. gonna stop now.. and do the pics.. so yes.. Staff great – op great – no pain so far great – no great pain… HAPPY DAYS People

Oh by the way had 300cc HP overs as far as I know (forgot to put that in) – also other than the twinges – I already feel like they were always like this.. (again maybe the drugs here) – I havent actually taken any medication since coming to my room so I dont really know whether i am even on any drugs… 😆

Hey, what a great story to read… so glad everything has gone well for you today and what a trauma getting there. Sounds as though everything has gone perfectly – are you staying in overnight? I’m in a week today and this has really put my mind at ease tonight, as I had a crazy dream last night about the op. I was toying with the idea of 300s but have decided to go for 265 Inspiras, think I’m going to be more than happy with those! empre55 they look wicked!! and so soon after op! i am defo having 300cc now – they look the perfect size not too big not too small hun where did u get ur white bra from in ur pics? is that a macon bra? def need 2 invest in one it looks really comfy & imagine easy 2 get on with the zip at the front xx

Here are the details – I have added the details to the pic as well – it comes with and without a strap across that goes around the top to hold the boobs in or down? not sure, which I havent bothered to put on or rather the nurse didnt put on – the best bit is the shoulder straps are adjustable velcro which you can see on the pic..

the also do zip front sports bras etc .. i got some for work.. but as I said – they are be expensive bought it because my cousin in america recommended the brand – ”Anita Medical Garments” – she is a surgeon

I showed them to DR C at my 2nd consultation – because I am afro caribbean I am at a higher risk for capsular contraction – all the research i did said that the medical grade compression bra has been seen to help reduce the risk – hence why I paid so much..

Dr C did said they were a bit fancy – and that the others would work as well – but he checked them for me to ensure that they were stretchy to accomodate the swelling and size changes that he says I will have throughtout healing – he was happy with it and said I could use them – there are other places that do them on the internet so you may have time to get it cheaper than I did – I got mine very last minute..

@ ALL – thanks for all the lovely wishes – at home all settled – was discharged at 9 am – really could have stayed ( that is how nice they were – also was great being looked after) – got my medication – but havent needed to take them yet – still no great pain – a bit sore today but I think that is from me being up and about and coming home (where I unpacked my case – tidied up – went out to the garden – basically pottering about) – so yes – still feeling great – I will start the antibiotics tonight – and do some more pics..

@riggers23w Thanks hon .. I didnt even get to check who was in as it was so fast – I think I was the first in the afternoon schedule as I was admitted at 1pm and was in theathre at 2 – I was in 202 at the back – did you stay overnight?
