MY STORY………..

410cc unders with ben chew at glasgow hospital 

On the 9th of june me and my boyfriend woke up at 5am and made our way from edinburgh to glasgow,my check in time was 6.30am, got there 10mins early. Was nice and quiet when we arrived (everyone would still be tucked up in bed lol way too early!) after 5mins i was taken up to my room and told to settel in,soon after that the nurse came to fill out some paper work with me and gave me some sexy long green socks,paper pants and a goun,and said il be going down at 10am!! Just tryed to stay relaxed and watched abit of tv and went on my laptop,around 8am my surgeon ben chew came to see me,hes so nice and made me feel ok about everything,hes quite funny too he drew on me and said he would see me in 2hours!! I was fine for that two hours in my room but then the dredded knock on the door came and it was a nurse and another man with a bed and she said “we are ready for you now”,then i burst into tears! I was soooooo scared and though the GA wouldnt work properly on me and id feel everything lol. I got up on the bed and they weeled me down to theater,i was still crying when i got down there but the guy was so nice to me and made me laugh so i calmed down and felt abit better,was waiting on the bed for about 20mins befor he put the little needle in my hand (didnt hurt) and i felt it go up my arm,it was weird! Then about 4 seconds later i was gone! Cant even remember falling asleep,one min i was awake and the next i woke up and its all over! I remember hearing everyone around me talking but i was still out of it i couldnt open my eyes or speak lol i was shaking abit so they put more covers on me,think i was in recovery for half an hour befor they wheeled me back to my room. Woke up abit with an oxygen mask on my face and my boyfriend there holding my hand and holding some flowers  i was trying to look down at my new twins lol but cudnt manage so got my bf to take a pic on my phone,was soooo happy with them!! I was pretty much out of it for most the day,was hard to keep my eyes open,well intill i started feeling sick from the GA and morphine they gave me and then i was sick but nothin really came up as i hadnt eaten or drank for 16hours. Had sum toast to see if that would help but no it didnt coz it came strate back up! Yuk! So the nurse gave me an injection in my bum to stop the sickness. Finaly had somthing to eat at about 10.30pm and took my painkillers,felt alot better after that! Had quite a good sleep and was woken up by the nurse at 8am asking me what id like for breakfast. Ate that and took my antie biottic and about an hour later i was REALLY BADLY sick so they gave me a pill,it was the antie biottic that made me react like that,some people get really ill with them and im one of them!  anyway i was fine after i got the pill and i left the hospital at 1pm,im so glad i stayed over night coz if i had gone home the same day i wouldnt of got anything to stop the sickness. Its all worth it though and id do it all again tomoro if i had to! the pain isnt that bad at all! SO pre op girls dont worry,its absilutly fine!! Its more of a tight uncomfterble feeling. Got my macom bra on chilling in bed watching a dvd while i write this! Really happy with them cant stop feeling them up and peekin down my bra! haha there so firm whoop!

Anyway il shut up now been bletherin on abit!!

im having mr kazzazi who uses this horrible big white tape which ive gotta leave on for a week! think im equally nervous for having that torn off haha. in the back of my mind im sure it will be fine, its just those last minute nerves i reckon. i have just over 2 weeks off before i start a brand new job, really hope i get movement back in my arms quite quickly as im a radiograher and will need to be dragging xray tubes around a room above my head!! eeek, not too sure how well thats gunna go! xxx

ps, your boobs already look AMAZING no wonder your so chuffed! not sitting high up or anything! hope mine look just as good! xx

good luck huni!! ul b ok think u shud be fine 4 work,wen i woke up i cud lift my arms strate away it didnt even hurt lol my bf kept telling me off for doing it! but everyone is differnt i suppose xxx

Love the picture of the garden out of your hospital window. I only had some buildings outside of mine when I had my op.

I recognise the detailed preop artwork (had similar lines drawn on me last year)!! I remember asking Ben whether he went everywhere with a spirit level and measuring tape in his pockets. He said “just the tape”! 😆

Im getting really bored already tho!! My hubby keeps telling me to lie down and rest, but I feel all stiff and sore when i lie down for too long!! xx
