I’m posting my story to help others like they have helped me

Kept waking up in the night untill finally it was time to get up lol my bf drove us there it took half hour but we was early just incase so got there at 8 instead of half 8, sat in reception for ten mins filled a little form out then was showed to my room was nice bed was comftable got tv, then we was told to wait for the nurse, about half hour later she came in really nice and chatty totally forgot her name but she had short hair and was lovely, went through a few things such as allegies etc done a preg test all was fine, then the anesthsia man came in and had a chat he was lovely aswell and explained about it, then the nurse she told me I was second so wouldn’t be long,got changed into my sexy knickers stocking and gown, then at about 9 dr gonshcoir came to see me to see if I had any questions but I didn’t, all I said was make it nice and small for me, he’s very professional and knows exactly what he’s doing so I didn’t take any pics or anything, then at quartre past 10 nurse came in and said they was ready I wasent really scared just wanted it over and done with, walked to the room layed down on the bed then another nurse took my blood pressure, the anesthesia man came in and nurse told me to make fists to get a vein, he inserted the needle which felt like a tiny scratch honestly nothing to worry about, I’ve never had anesthesia before so I thought I was gonna go there and then so I said bye and he hadent put the stuff in yet haha, he said I would taste something in my mouth and my arm would feel heavy,3 seconds later arm felt heavy then my head then everything went black lol, next thing is hearing myself groaning like as tho you do in the morning lol I didn’t know I was doing it though, then heard nurses talking and saying hello when I tried to open my eyes which is impossible for a while I just felt out of it, they took my blood pressure loads of times I tried to speak to say I couldn’t swallow so she gave me a few sips of water(when I 1st woke up omg my throat was soo dry it wasent nice) I asked for the time aswell for some reason lol she said half past 12 so I was out for 2 hours, got wheeled back to my room at about 1 and had to get myself off the bed onto my room bed and my hand was killing cause they keep the plastic bit up your vein incase they need it again so try not to bend your hand cause it really hurts, I layed in the bed still dozy for about half hour closing my eyes then after that I was awake and normal lol, nurse came in again and gave me water and menu for food, and got icecream for my throat whivh was heaven! then I just rested untill 5 and food came and my bf got the same as me(which later he had to pay for both of ours I thought mine was including but oh well)I recommend bringing your own food as it wasent very nice. Then nurse told me dr gonschior finishes at 6 so would come see me after then I can go, he came at half 6 and said evreything went well etc and he will next see me at the check up, got givin my tablets by nurse then I went home at 7ish, overall experience was good specially when the nurse is friendly now looking forward to the outcome and the healing process isn’t very nice but I knew what to expect, pain is beauty lol, hope I helped others feel at ease cause honestly its fine xx

Wow this sounds just like my day yesterday such a mental experience and so glad I did it, ill message u back in a sec P.S the ice cream was such a god send wasnt it, i ordered some more with my dinner even though it wasnt on the menu haha xxxxxxx

I’m gonna ask my bf to bring me some haagan daaz later as its the best one cause I dnt like like icecream ha, the food was about 6quid each and my bf was hungry beforehand so he got a sandwhich and that was 3.50, today my eyes are really puffy and feel bit rough and my nose does hurt a bit but I’ve took my ibroprofen and antibiotics so hopefully that will go, kept waking up practically every hour last night and propping myself up cause kept slipping down lol, oh and also my mum did this thing with my pillows and made them really comftable, she put my 2 normal pillows were they usually are then she got 2 other pillows and made them into a ‘V’ shape cause I haven’t got a v pillow, and its so comftable! X
