my story all done 11.10.2011

well I arrived at The Birkdale Clinic at 10am there was an hour delay, so hung around in reception for a bit then I was taken to the ward, meet the nurses, Helena and Anethitist then was ready and waiting. I had my surgery just after 1pm and was back on the ward for 3.30ish I didnt want to wake up I was in a lovely sleep, snoozed for a bit and chatted to the 3 girls that were on the ward with me, They were lovely. The nurse came in and checked my obs and asked me if i wanted any pain killers Or food which I did was starving by this point. Drains removed this morning by the lovely nurses who were so kind and friendly, feeling abit sore and swollen but very happy so far with the results. i can not fault Helena or how helpfull the nurses and other staff were, they always asked if we needed anything and were so chatty and comforting. A great experience so far. Happy to be back at home ! xx

i know people worry over nothing its one of the easiest things in the world to go through, a walk in the park lol id do it again tomorrow xx

I know lol I was a worrier ! But my god I love the GA !!! It was amaizing would highly recommend that ! The anethetist wa standing over me smiling and I was chuckling ! lol, Bless him he came in our ward at 7ish to see how we all were. He was lovely xx

Laura I know I pesterd you lol. But im so pleased now ! Drains were a doddle, just still swollen and my boobs are up by my throat but its all bearable and not painfull just achy ! xxx

you didnt pester dont be silly!! just glad your feeling ok! and i know they will be swollen and probs hard too? i joked saying i could put sum1s window through with mine lol! x

they feel really weird when i touch them super sensitive and my nipples are pointing east and west ! like torpedoes ! thank god ive got my macom on ! so comfy, it weird the only part that does feel a it sore is my sternum ? Thanks for al your help Laura your a jem xx

aww its nice to help! n it will just be where its stretched, mine felt like it was like lifted up but it goes down! now its the count down to wearing normal bras lol! x
