My story and new pics up – clairecupcakes

26/8/11 BA with Mr. Singh

I’m gonna try to not go on and on but I will make note of the thing’s I was NOT happy about.. basically I went on my own had to be there by 11 so got there at 10.50 was shown to my room and then the anesthetist came in (reminded me of the chinese dude from the hangover – well hectic and funny lol) then Mr. Singh came in for a chat, drew on me etc.. then the nurse came in and checked me over she was lovely.. Marion I think. Then I was left for 2 hours (They said would be 45 mins) so jsut watched tv.

Then Marion took me downstairs and this bit was terrifying.. Note- I am I think quite a bit younger than some of you and never had an operation before – I lay on the bed in the anesthetist room shaking asking what he was doing ‘speak to her’ ok… it was all so quick I was panicking ha then I said when will I go to sleep and he says ha ha in bout 10 seconds try count to ten night night lovely..

Then I woke up in recovery asking for gas and air I was like argh it hurts (it didn’t I was just panicking again) I’m a bit of a control freak and drama queen so like to know what’s going on.. my legs couldn’t stop shaking and i burst into tears.. then I realised I had boobs and shut the hell up and went back to sleep with a MAHOOOSIVE grin slapped on ma face

Then I was wheeled back to my room and this is the only bit of the day I hated.. The Polish nurse Ana was putting me into a position then I asked her to close the curtain and could I have some water please.. she left me halfway putting me into position I couldn’t move.. left the curtain open and went to get water.. I was in agony and couldn’t reach the nurse bell… I shouted and shouted and everntually Marion came in and helped me and I was crying from pain of the position I had been put in.

This wouldn’t have happened if my mum was there.. I’m sorry if I scared anyone but I’m not going to not say what happened.. I complained don’t worry.

The rest of my experience was perfect My friends came and surprised me which was the BEST thing ever too…

Oh and I stayed over night.. Mr. Singh didn’t come in and see me after my op which I also complained about because I felt forgotten.. Don’t get me wrong I am VERY happy with my boobs but not with some of the care in hospital/aftercare.. I was promised to feel special when I just felt like a number…

My mum did warn me this would happen though as time is money xx

Yeah I was thinking of putting a proper pic up of my swallow tattoo cos you can’t really see it in my boobie pics! I love it. Plus it took over 6 hours, and cost me an arm and a leg!! Aha.

I SO want this flower thing covered up with a feather, but if it went wrong or didn’t look quite right then I would be p*ssed as I’m a perfectionist/control freak.

The nip thing will go down eventually hun.. mine have gone down LOADS, which you can see in the two week pics of mine.. but they still have ”puffy” moments!! Lol. Wait until you get sensitive nips.. ANNOYING!! Lol x

Sorry to hear about the rubbish bits – what hopsital were you at? At least it’s only a small price to pay for boobs! V brave going alone and what a nice bunch of mates surprising you. Hope the healing process is quick and relatively painless for you x
