my story..ba yesterday dr traynor 340 unders…wear a sports bra?

hi girls,

so i had my BA yesterday with Mr Traynor, procedure was much easier than I was expecting i was first in and went down to theatre at 9:10 and was back in my room at just after 10:30 feeling fine. i initially saw mr traynor back in june and he recommended overs even though i was only a 34a..i wanted a natural look so was a little confused by this but when i got there yesterday he took one look at me and wondered why he had suggested overs and in the end did unders as i have always thought would be better for me with having very little to start with. feeling fine now very swollen around my clevage looks as though i just have one big boob but i’m sure this will go down eventually. they are also very high and squarish looking but im gessing this is normal for unders until they drop?

I was offered 300/340/380 and went with 340 but this was when i was having overs. when mr traynor decided on unders i asked him if this would be big enough or should i go with the 380s because you loose some of the size with unders but he said that wasn’t true. i never wanted them too big i originally asked for a full c or small d but in the following months i decided i really wanted a d after paying such a lot of money. i must admit they are ALOT smaller than i was expecting as alot of people have told me they regret not going bigger once they have settled but initially when there swollen they will seem really big but mine are not atal. i’m really hoping to be a D cup!

i havent done an awful lot of research about unders because i focused on overs as thats what i thought i was having, i have done some since though and am hoping when they drop and ”fluff’ they will get bigger. is this usually the case as i’m worried that once the swelling goes down they will be even smaller!

also is it routine for the surgeon to usually come and see you before you leave the hospital? this did not happen and i have not spoke to dr traynor about unders therefore i dont know if i should wear my sports bra 24/7 as i know sometimes people are advised not to with unders to let them drop? i asked the nurse at the hospital and she said to wear it for 6 weeks but she didn’t even know if i had unders or overs. i’ve contacted my patient co-ordinator but she hasnt got back to me yet.

any advice would be greatly appreciated! i will be putting pics on soon & apologies for the essay lots to say lol

This sounds like such shit care I would be upset if I were you.. My dr (mr. singh) didn’t come into see me after and I was really annoyed because I wanted to thank him! Keep nagging your PC tomorrow defo!

If it helps I had 340 unders and thought they didn’t feel very big at the beginning.. mine are just coming up to a month old and they are so much bigger than they were at the start!

For the first 2 weeks I switched between macom and sports bra but now I don’t even wear a bra most of the time because at my 1 week check up the nurse said that bras aren’t that necessary at this size and some surgeons even reccommend no bra so that they drop better. I sleep in my macom but during the day I am commando haha !!

Hi hun, sorry you didn’t have a good experience. Congrats on joining the boobie club however!!! Look at them big new knockers Yes you should wear a sports bra/ macom for 6 weeks now, to support the breasts and prevent strain on the muscle xx

Hey Abbie, congrats on having ur boobies hope u feel better soon. I had 340 unders 3 months ago n I thought mine were just right at first n lately I’ve been thinking they might be too big!! Hubby tells me I’m mad. In clothes they can’t look any different to my BIG padded bras b4 (had no boobs) as no one who I haven’t told doesn’t know. I found when I had the dressing taken off they felt SO much better. I think they had dropped n it was almost holding them up, weird. Also when they soften they feel bigger cos they move. I also didn’t wear a bra at times if it didn’t right. I think we should listen to our bodies more n what we think is right, of it feels right do it. I’ve seen a few on here that didn’t wear bras n they look no different to the girls that stay in them 24/7. U decide Anyway hope ur ok xx

Abbbie212 I hated my boobs when i first ahd them done! they look out of shape and small but now a month and half on i love them, I still wish i woudl of gone bigger though. Im going to save up and go under again in the next two years. I also wore extremly padded bras before so no one can tell ive had it done! xx

i had unders yesterday and ive put a bag of frozen veg inbetween my squares because like you my cleavage is swollen looks like the skins coming of my ribcage lol. im a mario girl so im wearing a breastband but have a sports bra on too (keeps the peas in ) xxx

i think its just mario that recommends breast bands tbh and it has it pros but also makes my chest feel soo tight xx

I had dr t consultation today as my op is in three weeks he says wear a sports bra hunny any kind x
