My story!!…Can't believe I'm in the boobie club!

Hello all my lovely ladies! I hope you’re all well and happy.

So I’ve just arrived home (took my laptop but the WIFI was down so I’m sorry I’ve only just put up my story.)

When I got to Park Hill hospital I only waited two minutes and they took me straight to my room. Made sure I had all my stuff and that I was comfortable, and made sure Tom was happy, with “skysports” (grrr!) The nurse then told me to slip into my gown and that Dr.K would be along in a minute. As I moaned and moaned and moaned about being hungry, Dr.K came in after 15 minutes. He seemed a bit quieter than usual but still gave me a smile. I think he was just getting into the zone…can’t imagine that responsibility or concentration!! Still he reassured me and then drew around my boobies with a permanent marker…it still looks great haha! Then after Dr.K left the anaesthetist came in who was a jolly man, just asked me plenty of questions, the same as in your pre op really. He was horrified that I was allergic to chocolate and said he felt really bad for me…he said he felt that awful he wasnt even going to take the piss (meanwhile my boyfriend was munching on a pain au chocolat!! cheers thomas!!)

When the time came a lovely nurse walked me down to the what I call “knock out” room. Everyone in there was really nice and chatted to me, but were quite quick about the situation and before I knew it my happy anaesthetist was like ok you’re going to be asleep very soon darling and then “knock out…lights out.”

So after what felt like the best kip ever I woke up, with an oxygen mask on. I told the nurse helping me to come round that I felt like a pigeon……???? and could I please take off the mask. Then the next thing I know my boyfriend was kissing my forhead and told me not to worry about the dirty pigeons that needed cleaning and it wouldnt be wise to waste my make up wipes on them HAHA!! What an idiot. After a few times that you get checked up on you’re offered a cup of tea which is GREAT!!!

Dr. K came and told me that everything went absolutely fine, and he will see me very soon for my bandage removal. He said it was his pleasure and hopes i’m really happy and they’re everything i hoped for (Sweeet!) So yeah he is so nice after the op and makes you feel really calm.

I was in and out of it all day, and my boyfriend left late afternoon to get back to Harrogate. So I had to bond with the nurses!! They were all so nice, and I think I may have buzzed a few too many times but it never bothered them. Anything you want they will get you and nothing is too much trouble!

This morning I managed to get dressed and do my make up on my own as long as you dont lift your arms over shoulder height its fine! My advice is stay calm and go steady. Now the drains are interesting. They dont hurt when they’re pulled out but it does feel funny…its a lot of pressure and tugging, but once they’re out you feel you have more freedom.For those of you worried about them don’t! They aren’t painful, and when I see all the stuff that came out I’d much rather have had them as I can’t imagine where all that stuff would be now if I didnt have it drained out!!! I do think its a positive.

So from a 32B, I think I look about a 34E right now but I wont know till my tape is off. I’m sore but in a weird way. My breast bone going down the middle hurts when I breathe, my right boob is def more sore than the left, but I expected that from the posts I’ve read so I dont think I will panic too much yet. I was told to keep pushing my nipple to keep everything moving. Just can’t wait to get these bandages removed on Friday so I can see them properly woooo!!

Just wanna say a HUGE thank you to all the amazing women that have really helped me on here…I really couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to my amazing PC Jane, who has done so much for me bless her and the Leeds Clinic have been great in general…Just the impatience of waiting for them to settle…I’ve joined the waiting game now.

Thanks pinkbutterfly…I will indeed, rest is very necessary. They’re starting to get a wee bit warm now haha, sleep will help me forget about it I think!

honeygrace, I’m glad its reassured you. that was my main aim as so many girls have reassured me with their stories. I dont know what other PS’s are like but Dr.K is wonderful you’re in great hands. I had 460 unders…so I’m a bit stretched haha, can start to feel the bruising now…no lie! But honestly couldn’t be happier, the pain is definitely worth it you will be fiiiine!! x x x

Yay congrats hun and welcome to the club! Im only day 4 and still needing the rest… I overdid it on night 1 so now paying for it! Let Tom do everything for you and enjoy being pampered! Bet you cant wait to get the bandages off and have a peek! Cant wait to see your pics! xx

Heeeey linzi. Haha, I’m struggling to breathe, my right boob keeps twinging eugh it hurts booo! the co codemol isnt helping either which is a bit of worry but I will grit my teeth and bear it I think!

Yeah he better look after me haha, the amount I’ve looked after him for the past 2 years!! Hehe I’m gonna enjoy it! I know the bandages are already doing my head in haha, just wanna see these puppies!!! Apparently I was poking them going…”Tooooom they dont look any different! He was like first of all dear god stop poking them, and second of all when you look in the mirror you’re gonna take that back” And that I did. They look huge!! I’m hopinh the swelling goes a bit cos they are a wee big big, but I think it’s cos they’re quite high up. Yeah I will put pics up in the next couple of days see what you guys think! Im so glad Im not alone with the pain and breathing thing but also sorry for you that you’re going through it too! My left boob is throbbing and almost feels like its contracting. I dont have bandages on mine so I can see whats going on and luckily no redness or abnormal swelling. They are both the same size so no worries just yet! Do you mean co-drydamol? Thats what I have and they dont help at all… Apparently, they are also what causes the constipation so I am now sporting a 3rd lady lump- a mahhosive belly, nice!

Mine looked ridiculous from the side the next day- look at my pics. They seem to have calmed down a little from the side and im loving the shape. They prob dont look that different but gonna add another pic now!

lol the pidgeon story really made me giggle the GA left me so tired i couldnt keep my eyes open for 30 secs, was still finding it hard the day after!! So saying daft things was off the cards for me as all i did was sleep lol.

Wow, what a great story just reading it has made me all excited and i cannot wait for my time with Mr Kazzazi, just got to wait another 34 days and I too will be in the boobie club!

Aw thats such good news that all went well… thanks for posting your story! having my op in APril with Dr C. Am very nervous about the pain even though I have popped out 3 kids with no pain relief….. I just have to think of the end result! Looking forward to seeing some pics….

I’m dreading monday cos i’m gonna be there all on my own! Not there until 2pm and think i must be pretty much last on the list as op is about 2.5hrs and i’m an overnighter. I’m gonna be starving as i wont have been able to eat all day!
